why does the title say "400 mg tablets" but the dosage is 400mg in TWO tablets?

My shipment arrived timely today. Because the label said 400 mg and 270 tablets, and because other products I looked at specified 500 mg per tablet, I expected each tablet to contain 400 mg. The label on the back does say that one serving of 400 mg is two tablets, but the label and advertising should have been clearer.

Question only for Manufacturer: How much "elemental magnesium" in each tablet? Label says 200mg but does not specify if that is "elemental magnesium."
