Easy enough to install and you can YouTube it also. Only complaints thought the kit I received blue color did not light up all buttons. But I switch out my rechargeable batteries for the Xbox rechargeable battery pack. Once I charged them all colors worked and where bright. I’d advise getting the Xbox rechargeable battery pack with this kit.

Very hard and confusing to install. I dont even want a refund because it short circuited and I threw it out (where it belongs in the trash) . Whole story. Soooo taking the controller apart was fairly easy. Many thanks on the tools. The only good thing I got out of this package. After taking controller apart the weird hard part came in. Sticking the LED light to the circuit board. So to start you have to insert a tiny thin wire into a somewhat what I like to call it ( you never gonna get it in there place). Did that now another weird part you have kinda put the Letter F piece underneath the whole LEDs then slip it under (dont know the term but the place where the battery gives power lol) and in the instructions it says "fold a piece of paper and slip it under to hold in place" like what???? Also they dont give you a piece of paper. So I had to rip up some and didnt work because it just didnt stay under. So first attempt I put the controller back together turn it on and Boom lights.... good you might ask??..... welp only ONE color!! RED!! and wont change or turn off. So in the instructions they tell you to take it apart again to make sure pieces are in the correct place. Soooo once again took it apart triple checked it and closed it back up, put the batteries in andddddd boom NOTHING!! So now I'm looking at the instructions and my controller like hmm ok now that's wrong. Took it apart again checked again put it back together again and yup you can guess it NOTHING!!! Honestly I felt like it wasnt going to work because the sit up is sooooooo sketchy! This product is no good!! DO NOT BUY!! There are other options on Amazon and I will be trying them. But as for this one they have alot of work to do. HORRIBLE ( also if you dont get it right the first time which I doubt you would the adhesive completely goes away sooo good luck ) save yourself the 30 dollars plus tax and get something else. Maybe some Nexus LED strips for you house! Those are amazing!! I honestly bought like 6 packs and buying more! Anyway eXtremeRate I give them an extreme rating of -5 stars! HORRIBLE

Ok so it looks awesome. Was harder than expected to install, but I got it done. I read the reviews where people said the buttons didn't work right. Here was the issue found. The buttons are keyed and only go in a certain way. They do however fit the wrong way. This is what held me up for about 45 minutes. You'd think it was all set mount board A back into the case and the buttons wouldn't pop back like they used to. This took a long frustrating amount of time to get right. Once you're properly installed they feel like stock buttons, be Patient. I didn't really care for the "paper" under the contacts to the battery. Not sure what the fix would be without soldering it. Another review said it doesn't save the setting but I haven't experienced that. Once I got it set it stayed where I put it. If you're using batteries you'll have to turn off the leds after you're done playing. I was hoping since I'm leaving it plugged into my Pc it would stay on without batteries. Maybe I need to try a official battery pack that recharges from USB.

It looks lovely (when the lights stay on, there is a short), but it has made the ABXY buttons waaaaay less sensitive, and has a nice bonus of randomly pausing my game! It wasn’t overly difficult to add, EXCEPT FOR THE LAST PORTION. You have to attach part of it without proper visual because the ribbon is so short. I’d rather that ribbony part be longer for proper install. I am sure that’s the part causing the issues, but an attempt to fix made things worse.

I had to open up my controller to replace a component, so I decided to install this mod (Kit B) while I was already inside. The install was finicky but not difficult. I appreciate that the kit comes with everything you need, but in my opinion, the end result is not worth the 33.59 USD I paid. During the day, the LEDs are just not bright enough for the price. I feel like if the mod had twice as many LEDs, then it would be worth the price. However, they are just not bright enough unless you're playing at night with no lights on. Maybe Kit A (all clear buttons) would be a better buy. I'd say it's worth about 15-20 USD. All that being said, I'd still recommend buying it because other similar mods are comparable in price. Plus you get the satisfaction of modding it yourself. The buttons/joysticks are decent quality (you won't notice you replaced them). Advice for installation, there are two pairs of black and grey wires and two pairs of black and red wires that power the four rumble packs (one in each trigger and two at the bottom) in the controller. These wires can easily break from the circuit board if they are yanked. If wire(s) breaks then the corresponding rumble pack(s) won't work. Your controller will still function as normally minus some or all of the rumbling. Follow every direction to mitigate breaking wires.

Fairly easy to fit if you have taken an Xbox one pad apart before. Only gripe I had was the battery connector, instead of paper I lifted the terminals up and soldered them directly so it's firmly in there. Fired straight up after putting batteries in. Well impressed 13 year old along with the blue front and grips from Extreme Rate too to give it the Overwatch look.

If I could put up a minus score I would. Way to complicated to convert, instructions barely make sense and the parts (especially the electronic bridges) are way to flimsy and difficult to install, even for someone who regularly upgrades and replaces parts on controllers. Not worth it!

Le produit arrive dans une petite boite en carton, seulement marquée du logo ExtremeRate, d'un artwork de manette XBOX-One, et du nom du produit. A l'interieur se trouvera dans un petit sachet prévu a cet effet le circuit a installer, en 2 parties, et un mousse contenant les boutons et les outils (2 tournevis aimantés, une petite pince en plastique, et de quoi declipser les plastiques de la manette). Un manuel d'installation papier est lui aussi fourni, mais je recomanderais plûtot le guide vidéo de la marque trouvable sur youtube, qui est beaucoup plus clair. Certaines parties de l'installation demanderons un peu de dextérité, en particulier si vous avez de grande mains, mais avec de la patience tout se passera bien. En ayant déjà de l'experience avec le démontage/remontage de manettes, l'installation m'a prise 1h30 en y allant doucement. Les lumières nescessitent de spiles ou le Battery Pack, elles ne fonctionneront pas uniquement alimentées par USB. Cepandant, pour quelqu'un ayant des connaissances, une modification pour que le tout fonctionne par USB ne serait-pas impossible. Le rendu lumineux est très satisfaisant, bien qu'une peu faiblard sur les boutons ABXY, mais cela est plus dû a la hauteur de ces boutons obligeant la source lumineuse a se trouver "loin" par rapport au haut des boutons. Le feeling de ces boutons est très satisfaisant, de même que pour la croix directionelle. Les sticks auraient peut-etre mérité une un peu plus grande attention sur la finition ("Boule" de plastique restée accrochées a certains endroits) mais restent très satisfaisant a utiliser. De manière générale, je recommande ce produit.
