Vintage Simplicity 1221 1940's Vintage Fashion Women's Apron Sewing Pattern Kit, Sizes S-L

Arrived quickly. Seems like fine pattern but have not made it yet.

Came with everything and wasn’t damaged.

Purchased as a gift for a friend, she was so pleased! She's just beginning to sew and I knew from experience aprons are some of the easiest patterns for practice. She was so excited to see it includes one for collecting eggs. I hope she makes me one, they're all so cute! Love!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: what I was looking for!

I have made 2 cute aprons from pattern A. The others take 2 yards of fabric so I have to buy more before making them.

I made View A so far and it was very easy!! I made 2 aprons for Christmas presents and plan on making one for myself soon. I’m still a beginner and got single fold bias tape instead of double fold, guess I wasn’t reading right that day lol, make sure you get what the pattern says and don’t make a silly mistake like me!! This picture is when I just finished the first one, I also ended up adding a fabric bow on the center of the neckline as a cute personal touch.

Had a trade show where I needed a vintage looking apron and it needed pockets. So I used the pockets for B on Pattern A. I haven’t sewn in 25 years and this pattern was really easy to follow and make adjustments to. Also since it would need to fit multiple people I just separated the yoke at the top and used Velcro for the closure.

I plan to use this pattern to make my Christmas gifts! Thanks, Lynn

So far I've made apron A (the full apron without frills) I've done a beginners sewing class & have made 1 dress with a pattern but had a tutor to help so I'd say I'm a begginer with basic skills. I found this pattern a little tricky & would not have been able to complete it without watching 'how to use sewing pattern' videos on YouTube. If you're a beginner I think this is a good pattern but you need to read through everything quite a few times & reasearch before you start! I used linen fabric & would say not to use it if you're a beginner as I found it frayed a lot whilst sewing the bias binding on & I had to redo stitching sooo many times! Next time I'd use a nice thick cotton! Now I've completed it once I think next time it would be much easier & faster. If you're a beginner like me a practice run might be good first if you're making it as a gift. :)

Buena calidad relación producto-precio. Son 5 patrones los que incluye el paquete con varias tallas. Dentro del embalaje vienen plegados los patrones en un papel fino pero resistente que al desplegarse tiene las medidas reales, no es necesario escalar el patrón salvo que quieras tallas muy concretas.
