I bought these for my 91 yo dad who clenches his fist tightly when he is tired. They work very well for this purpose!

Fairly It was easy to get muscle-tightened fingers around it. The elastic could be a little less tight. Fortunately my sister’s hand is small, but feels tight after a few hours. The fabric is very soft and comfortable

Too large for a mans hands

Super easy to keep your hand open with it, and with or without the strap. If you have moderate or severe spasticity in your hand, just buy it, as it will help you, unlike most things on the market for your stroke-affected hand! Much better than all those tennis balls, smiley face balls, and flat plastic hand torture devices, as I bought them over the last 3 years or so. They are well worth $12.99, just for the convenience of them gently keeping your fingers open,in my case, nearly 24 hours a day.I had to get the large size as I have extra-large man hands that match my size 15 feet.I said that in case you are like me, a pre-50yo 6'2'' naturally muscled guy.

As an OT, I advise for clients with poor hand hygiene or to prevent contractures. Time will tell how quickly it loses it's plumpness.

The items I ordered were a bit too small and I had to order a bigger size. It was difficult to decidee what size to order.

I've got several pairs of those hand grips but those ones must be for a child.
