Is the tuning kit suitable for beginners? Any teaching app for recommending?

I think it is fine for beginners. The user has to have a good sense of pitch, and has to understand that the higher notes on a piano have 3 strings per note. So you have to "mute" the strings that you are not tuning. There are good YouTube videos out there to help.
