22C-Ph Parker Hale Brass Jag Fml Thrd

It is very well designed but with todays solvents it needs to be of a material other than brass to avoid false readings while using a gilding metal / brass / copper cleaner.

Note that this is has FEMALE thread and won't fit most cleaning rods. You have to read the very fine print in this description and both notice and figure out that "fml thrd" precludes its use with most rods.I would call this Amazon's fault for the lousy description, not Parker Hale's fault. The result is the same for me, as it's too cheap to bother sending back, but still cost me $5.It still may be a good jag and maybe sometime I'll order the male-threaded version.

much better, patches makes full contact with bore to the base of the lands, much easier cleaning, holds solvent like a bore mop.

Not sure how to eate this. Quality Jag. However has a female thread which doesn't fit any rods that I have.
