Will this fit in a traxxas 1/16 e-revo vxl?

It should, but might be a tight fit. However I do not recommend this battery. they swell and puff up after a few uses. The quality of the 3s 2200 is poor compared to larger 3s Zee batteries.

I flew it but my ESC started heating up super fast. Do I need to upgrade my ESC when using this 120C battery?

It very likely has nothing to do with the battery. Looks to me like you have a short in the line from the ESC to the motor or a short in the motor. It can happen if you got sand near the turnings and it scraped the insulation. A lower C battery will not allow the motor to draw as much current, so it is possible you've had this problem but it didn't become apparent until you used a higher C rating.

Are these available in single packs? I think I have an application that 3 of these in parallel would be great for but not sure I want to buy 6.

Any chance you make a 2s version of this thats still 120c and 2200mah? All i can find is a 50c version in 2s.
