Love This Stylus
I own the Griffin stylus, the Amazon Basics stylus and the Targus stylus and the Targus stylus by far is my favorite. If it had the lanyard at the other end it would be the absolute perfect stylus. I for one don't understand why so many people don't know what the lanyard or fob is for on so many of the styluses made. Other then the Targus lanyard stylus are the type of stylus I look for. If it doesn't have a lanyard I normally won't buy it. Many people don't know how to use the lanyard or what it is for, I will try to explain: You separate the lanyard strings and loop it around your index finger or middle finger whichever is more comfortable for you. I personally think it gives you a better grip in your stylus (wish writing pens had them). Your stylus is always at the ready. When not using it for a bit just flip the stylus to the back of your hand and your hand is free for other things but always right there when you are ready to use it again. No more hunting and searching as to "where did I put that darn stylus, it should be right here, I just had it." It just loops right over your finger, they're great!!! And for me to leave a lanyard type stylus for the Targus, the Targus must be a great stylus!! I haven't deserted my lanyard stylus altogether but it sure would be great if Targus made a lanyard style stylus in this mm. The Targus has a wonderful feel. I noticed immediately how easily the keyboard responded to this stylus. I love the size if the nub, not too big, not too small just the perfect size for the keyboard and I am reviewing it for Kindle Fire HD 8.9 keyboard! I just Can't say enough great things about the Targus stylus. I have had it for about two weeks, use it constantly, without any problems at all. Can you tell, I'm definitely sold!!!

Great stylus - makes you forget that your fingers work on touchscreens!
I've heard some poor reviews of other styli where the tips require constant wetting in order to work. I've also had some cheap styli of my own in the past (e.g. on the backs of free pens) and they've been awful. This stylus is all of 15 bucks and will save you the trouble of the cheaper ones. First and foremost it works incredibly well as a stylus. My experiences with styli in the past have been so poor that I never thought I'd like anything besides using my fingers. However, since I received this product I found myself not only using it on my tablet but keeping it in hand at all times to use on my smartphones/other touch screen devices. There's no lag and the grip is as comfortable as any other pen. An added bonus that I didn't think I'd appreciate is that it keeps your screen free of oily fingerprints. That makes such a difference when you use your ipad/tablet in business presentations! A pristine ipad looks so much more professional than a smudgy one! Now I'm not certain if all/most styli have this, but I'm really loving the little loop on the end of this stylus. I've put in a little string to secure it to my tablet so I know I won't lose it. I'm very prone to losing pens but fingers crossed I haven't lost this one yet! Overall, a great product.

Perfect for what I needed it to do, price that couldnt be beat.
Im not sure what these normally cost, but for $4 that I paid, this thing cant be beat. It works on every device we own, and these get quite a bit of use. We are a very technical oriented household, and we do a lot of graphics work, tablets, drawing, etc. At this price even accidentally losing it isnt a big deal or worry, but it comes with a clip and a lanyard hole. Targus is a well known brand in business accessories, this wont damage your equipment, scratch your surface if you use it correctly, you really can not go wrong with this stylus if you need this type of pen. It isnt for active displays only, it will work on your phone, most tablets, even a touch monitor. It keeps our tablets from getting finger printed up and grimy in a hurry. I had never really used a stylus on my phone or tablet outside of and actual drawing tablet, but now we use them on near all devices. They add some extra precision, no more fat fingering mistakes!

Still on the hunt for the perfect writing stylus.
While this stylus works well, I will be looking for one that is very responsive to writing on my iPad 3. I purchased this stylus for business purposes while on the go. I found it to be very good for sketching simple drawings however, I wish it was better at writing. I find the tip to be a bit large (as most others) therefore it's hard to see what/where you are writing, and it could be a little more responsive in my opinion. The stylus itself feels great in my hand; not too light and not bulky. The clip allows it to attach to a number of my cases or within my handbag when it doesn't attach to a case. All in all, I think this is a good stylus, but I will continue to look for one that suits my writing needs. What I would like to see in a stylus: Increased responsiveness Same weight and size as this stylus A tip that resembles one of a pencil A solid (not hollow) tip

Almost Perfect
I have now purchased four of these stylus's (two for me, and two as gifts) and without a doubt, this is the one of the better purchases I've made for my iPad 2. It's funny, but it seems that every time I buy an Apple product, I wind up buying piles of cases, covers, protectors, stylus's, adapters, mounts, etc before I finally find the items that I like. In this case, I got lucky on the 2nd try! Pros: This stylus writes very smoothly and accurately, doesn't require a lot of pressure and glides easily. I use Noteshelf to take notes in meetings and for jotting things down while I'm both at my desk and roaming around. It is small, but usable, and easy to drop in a pocket. My father has very large fingers and his hands tend to shake a bit, and when I recently bought him an iPod Touch, he had a terrible time using the keyboard or selecting things. I bought him one of these and he loves it! It has a nice feel - solid and well-built. Cons: It's a little short for my taste. but on the flip side, this also means that it's easy to carry around. Unfortunately, it's also easy to misplace. The only other thing that is marginally negative is that the shirt clip is a little tight. I don't mind this too much, but if you want to clip it to your iPad cover, then the cover better be really thin! One other comment: I am a pen-turner, so I have experimented with adapting this stylus to a full-sized pen. It's actually quite nice. One of the reasons I know that this stylus is well-built is that in modifying it to be used in the pen, I cut one in half. The shaft appears to be a good-quality brass tubing. With the clip section removed, it adapted nicely to replace the nib section of a fountain-pen I made of South American Cocobolo wood. Talk about a conversation piece! Not only does it look nice, but this also gives me a cap to cover and protect the tip and I get the excellent writing capability of the Targus stylus! So if you're into that kind of thing, don't be afraid to experiment! This isn't that expensive if you buy it on Amazon (versus in the big-box store where you'll pay double what Amazon charges). I strongly recommend this product!

Not just for the silly iPad...
After reading the other reviews here on Amazon on this stylus I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. I use it for my Nook tablet and occassionally on my Samsung Stratosphere (smartphone) and it works wonderfully for both devices. I will admit I had tried one of these out at my local Staples to see if it indeed would work with my nook before I bought it. It leaves no marks or residue, has a little eyelet at the top to tether it to your device if you so desire, I personally use the clip part to clip it to my nook cover and it is quite sturdy as I remove and replace it quite a few times any given day so it isn't cheaply made. Cat has gone balistic on it (she is quite kitten like and loves to play with pen-like objects) and it still looks good as new. Although I wouldn't allow anything to chew on the rubber end as that is still rubber and can be destroyed! But I do not see it being destroyed under normal use. It's not too heavy and not extremely light, has a good feel and fits well in my small hands. The only thing I can immediately think of that would make this better is if it was an actual pen as well. But as it, it's perfect for my needs.

Good finger replacement
I was looking for a stylus for my iPad for taking notes and commenting on document files. My finger was not working well because the mark I made with it was difficult to position with any accuracy. It would make a mark at one side of my finger and next time at another, so it was hard to circle words or make proof reader marks, etc. I had tried a different pen that was even worse than using my finger. It was hard to accurately position the mark and it rarely made a mark. It was like trying to write with a pen that was mostly out of ink. I didn't want to waste another $25 or so on another unuseful pen. This Targus stylus was cheap enough to take a chance on. Delivery was much faster than the estimate with my order. It works well. I can position the marks it makes pretty accurately on the iPad. It has a very blunt tip, so you can't position it visually very well, but the mark is very close to where I expect a pen to make a mark, so hand-eye coordination takes over and lets me position marks and comments well. So I am very happy with its performance. The iPad or it's apps does limit how small a mark you can make, so you do have to exaggerate dots or periods, etc. The stylus is shorter and skinnier than nearly all pens and pencils, so it is awkward and uncomfortable to use for a long time. The clip on the side is just pressed in and very poor quality. It bends and falls off easily so I carry the stylus in a bag with the cables, charger, etc. for the iPad rather than in my shirt pocket or clipped to the iPad. Even so, it has a good cost/performance point at the sale price I paid.

Targus Stylus Pen Rocks!
What can I say about Targus? This is about the best pen you will get for the price range. Beware cheaper products, as some folks testify to the tips of cheaper pens break easily (you may damage your screen) and the overall quality is poor. You cannot go wrong with Targus. Granted as some also say the tip is not so much designed for handwriting applications because as you can see the tip is not fine point or narrowed. But that is not necessarity needed (I wiz through the internet and tasks with my Targus) and it still does work well for handwriting. Whether or not you are satisfied will depend the intent of how you want to use it. I use it for my iphone and ipad and am 100% satisfied for the work I choose to use it for and even after extensive use never had a problem with the tips weakening. Other types of pens with finer tips will cost you more ($30-40 bucks), but realize you may not necessarily want one with too fine of a tip. And the Targus is always way better than using your fingertips. I prefer NEVER to use fingertips anymore after using the stylus. Also don't forget to consider when weighing whether to buy more expensive brand of stylus that there is the risk of losing it. (I have lost one already.) You can't go wrong with this Targus pen. I currently have two Targus stylus' (I keep spares in case I temporarily misplace one) and just bought one for my mother. (I would't settle for a cheaper pen for her). One I found with similar quality was by a company called Mobi that I purchased at Radio Shack, but it is a little shorter and at full price is a couple dollars more. (I got the Mobi on sale and keep that one in my purse with my iphone for when I am on the road.) As a note, if you are going to travel with your stylus it it may be a good idea to purchase a little pen case so that you do not damage tip when carrying in your purse etc. PS.. I never used a stylus with a screen protector so I could not comment on how well it glides and reacts on screen protector, but it is beautiful on plain screen. Don't hesitate to buy this pen you will absolutely love it!

Nothing special!
This stylus works okay but quite honestly, my finger does a better job. I would like to have a finer point on a stylus but unfortunately havent been able to get the new Wacom stylus yet. I will be looking out for other styluses from time to time. For the money, this one was fair value.

Good :)
It's good! Works as good as a pen and a finger as well ! Little troublesome as it has a blunt point.
