Vertra SPF 45 Mineral Face Sunscreen Stick, Clear

This was recommended by my dermatologist. It works fantastic for my face and lips when I’m out on a hike or a bike ride. I love the texture and the ease of application. It’s a handy size to keep with me at all times!

I bought this sun screen stick 10 years ago while in Maui due to the sun causing ulcerated sores on my lips. It works like a champ, but this clear stick comes off easy and must be reapplied often. I prefer their skin tone sun screen stick as it stays on all day and I don’t have to keep reapplying it. I you get sun blisters on your lip….you must have one of these sun screen sticks.

I have been using this stick for a couple years and it works for me as it doesnt burn my eyes as many sunscreens do. I decided to get it on amazon but they sent me one that had a very short use by date. Tried to contact vertra through amazon a couple of times to ask why so short date but they never responded. Too late now to return to amazon so will use it till the date then toss the rest. I will go back to buying it locally or find a different brand that cares.

Best sunscreen that will stay on while doing active sports all day. Does not drip into eyes when going in water or sweating. Clear allows it to be worn all day, even to next morning, without anyone noticing. Layers like other zinc suncreens but without looking like makeup. Used every day for two week surf trip in Nicaragua, well worth paying more for quality sunscreen. Wore in marathon, did not sweat off face into eyes. Other brands fall off in water and do not last. My parents who are 65+ used for bird watching in Panama, they were impressed with products quality. High quality product.

It does not leave your face looking white. It lasts a long time underwater. It was recommended to me by a lifeguard/surfer in Hawaii. That is what a lot of those guys use and I can see why. I have been in the water for over 4 hours and although i did get a little bit burnt, my friends that were using something else were really burnt.
