Model BM160 Black Nylon Printer Ribbon

I pulled my Apple ImageWriter II printer out of the attic a few months back, set it up, and realize the printer ribbon was bone dry. Picked up this Nu-kote Model BM160 printer ribbon as a replacement and it worked great. No issues. I was printing dark black text with it. Will purchase it again if needed.

I have an Apple Imagewriter II hooked up to my Mac SE that I wanted to do some printing from. Was able to find tractor feed paper at one of the office supply stores, but my ribbons were dried up and not very reliable. Ended up finding this, and it worked great! Now I can print some banners like the cool kids do

It worked at first but the ribbon got jammed up internally between the gears after about 3 pages. I had to take it apart and transfer the ribbon to an older Cartridge housing I had (which appears to have a much more robust gear mechanism)

It worked well in my ImageWriter II

Have an old Imagewriter II for an old G3 Mac that I do large label printing (10,000 per mailing) for. These are hard to find now.Dot matrix printing is still the absolute cheapest way to go. The ink cartridge performed well.

ribbon was dried out junk
