This shower head was EXACTLY what I was looking for. No other shower head comes close, even luxurious expensive ones, over $100. I’m rather afraid of “jinxing” it by writing this review but I’ll update if my current opinion is challenged. I have severely sensitive skin prone to rashes eczema dry yet oily skin, cysts/boils, redness, the whole nine yards.. so my goal is one that alleviates my skin through softening or filtering my hard water. You can check out on ewg exactly what is in your hard water of your current area so you know what your shower head filter needs to be able to filter out. Upon reading in depth I found this shower head filters all that I needed.. I hadn’t come across one shower head that filtered every metal or mineral in my water but this stayed it did. I’m a bit skeptic of everything because I’ve tried so many things and have gotten inconsistent quality in Amazon products. So when I received my order I wanted to make sure that my shower head and filter were brand new. There have been times where I’ve bought shower heads off amazon or even other sites and they were clearly USED, which is disgusting. And worse, one filter had dead fleas when I opened up my package. I freaked out so bad.. Anyways, where I made my mistake was upon trying to unscrew the Pure Action shower head to check the filter. The front part, the face plate where the water comes out came undone instead. That part unfortunately is easier to unscrew so don’t hold on to that area when you’re trying to unscrew the handle from the grey body which is where the filter is located. Be careful! Once that was unscrewed, no matter how tight I tried to screw the front of the shower head/face plate it wouldn’t close the gap completely and the front streams a little leak of water when turned on but it’s okay since that water would have already been filtered. But I can’t bring myself to return or get a new one. I’ve loved this shower head so much and honestly it was my honest mistake that made it leak slightly at the front. I’m thankful that at least this product was most definitely brand new and unused. Thank goodness! Overall the showerhead is fantastic. It’s light, not sturdy that it’s unbreakable but it does exactly what I need it to. Must I say my skin seems relieved already after a week? My hair is also not weighed down by buildup from hard water. It’s actually softer! Im actually thinking of investing in another shower head for trips. Maybe one without the handle so it’s easier and faster to attach. I wish I knew about this product before when my hair and skin were dying in college because of the hard water in the dorms!

My family just moved to a new apartment and we needed a plumber to fix an issue that remained from the prior tenants. This arrived while the plumber was working and we asked him to install. He said this is a very nice unit. It took him 5 minutes to install. My family has used it several times so far since installation. We are all pleased with the lightness of the showerhead and the water pressure for each setting is great. I have thick hair and had no issues with rinsing due to the water pressure. My hair and skin are so much softer now. We previously used Sprite brand filtered shower heads and I feel that this one filters better and is much lighter; no chlorine or chemical smells at all so far.

This is a fairly nice shower head for the price. The instructions contain 4 steps and this requires only your hands. My complaint with the instructions is that they say to wrap the thread end of your shower with teflon tape (a generous supply is included) but they make no mention of wrapping the thread ends on both the connection from the head to the supply line and from the supply line to the shower head holder. I did so anyways to ensure no leaks, still had plenty of tape left over, and no leaks. I am disappointed that the supply line from the holder to the shower head is as short as it is. It hangs well above the tub line and if your littles use this you are likely to wind up with a soaking wet bathroom. I tried, unsuccessfully, to retrofit my old supply line but it wouldn't fit. Close, but the tolerances just weren't right. Also, call me picky but, the whole assembly is plastic with a chrome mask. It just feels to light and to cheap. Two extra washers were included with the kit with no explanation as to their presence in the kit or what they are for. Simple deduction says for both ends of the supply line, but.... Installing it was easy, 10 minutes tops and, again, just your hands... no other tools. It has a great three pattern spray and compared to the rest of the water in the house it feels heavenly. I live where the water is hard and there is a ton of lime and other nasties in the water and right off the bat I could feel the difference. This really is the sole reason I bought the unit, for its water softening abilities. I would like to see them either include a second filter with the kit and/or sell additional filters here on Amazon. It gives you a product number but it sounds like it is a replacement head or a different kit, not the filter. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months but I have a feeling here it will be every 3 and I'd love to be prepared. Additionally, just grabbed the supply line to move the head and the decorative cover just separated (see photo). Kind of bears out my thoughts that it is too cheap a kit. Biggest pro: this truly changes the quality of your water... luxurious. Biggest con: torn... either the short supply line or finding replacement filters. Or both. Would I buy again: probably. I'd like to see a more sturdy set with a longer supply line.

My girlfriend wanted this because the water is hard on her skin. So after looking around, I landed on this and committed to buying. It arrived today. Installation took 5 minutes and no tools. The shower head is very light and feels like metal. The hose seems to be decent. There was already a filter in the head and comes with an extra. If the gasket and screen falls out, fear not, just put screen and 1 gasket back in. I have no leaks. I didn't put much stock into the quality of shower water. But I like a good shower. This shower gets you soaked quickly. The water stream is so fine, it almost feels like a carbonated shower. Its kinda hard to explain, but if you are wanting a more massage-style shower, that makes you feel clean without soap(use the soap though lol), get this.

I was looking for two handheld showerheads for my home and wasn't interested in dropping $75+ apiece. I decided to try this model because the price was right and there were so many reviews. I'm glad I did. Super easy to install and easy to use. The "rain" setting alone is worth the price---deliciously gentle but invigorating. And the "massage" setting, unlike that of other models, is strong enough to do the job without feeling like taking a beating. I also love that it has a filter. Our city has ridiculously hard water, and I've used standalone showerhead filters in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how compact the filter is in this model and I do feel like it is working moderately well at making our water less hard. I'd definitely recommend this showerhead to others.

Updated review: Honestly, I am very, very unhappy with this product. I purchased this showerhead in 2021 and I was IN LOVE! Hands down, best showerhead i’ve ever used. I’ve maintained it by cleaning it and purchasing new filters, and it came with me to every new place I moved. But, after 4 years, I decided I’ll just buy a new one and not have to worry about scrubbing it down. Some of the streams had starting spraying in different directions, and I’ve been having pressure issues (from my water heater). I got the new one and installed it, and I was PISSED! Absolutely no pressure, like I was showering in the rain. Initially I thought maybe because this showerhead was new and not gummed up, combined with my water heater issues was why. That didn’t make sense to me so I started taking both of them apart. These are COMPLETELY different products! If I’m repurchasing something, I expect it to be the SAME product!! So peice by peice i traded out the new with the old, seeing where the pressure would come back. I ended up only keeping the new hose and new filter. That’s it! Every other piece killed the pressure. Even just the little strainer/head (idk what it’s actually called) plate! What a waste of money. Would have returned but I figured I’ll keep the new filter and hose. Don’t waste your money, this product turned to junk! Attached some comparison photos

I really wanted to like this due to the shower head being filtered but after using it for three weeks I started disliking it more & more. Personally I like my water pressure hard & good hot water coming out. (There’s a video explaining details) the only setting I liked out of the 3 only had warm/hard water coming out of the middle and the outside spray from it was cooler and softer. I don’t believe I used it long enough to know how well the filtration worked but there was no difference in the softness of my hair or skin/acne over the time I used it. It is very lightweight and was super easy to install so that was a plus. To sum it up; buy it if you like lower pressure, don’t if you like a harder pressure. The spray is very fine coming out of the shower head, I just love it! it has 3 settings which is perfect. It was so easy to install, I just took off the old shower head from the hose and screwed this one on. I saved the hose that came with this one, just in case I need it in the future. But after 3 months it's holding up great. And i can tell the filter is working well, as before I installed this (an my reason for purchasing a filter shower head) my hair would start to feel gross even after shampooing, from all the buildup of minerals or whatever was coming out of my unfiltered shower head. My fine hair has never felt cleaner since using this one! Bonus - it looks good too, doesn't look cheap. two thumbs up!

Product is fitted with a flow restrictor that severely impairs the water pressure. Remove the yellow fitting (as per the photo) in the shower head using a small screwdriver or even a fork and that will solve the problem. Shower now fulfils my needs - frankly it was awful beforehand.

This was not good the hose is too small for any real pressure it's only ok if you don't plan to move the head. Length of the line was good tho.

I’ve been living in the UK for 7 years now, and after spending three months in Vietnam, I really noticed the impact of hard water on my hair when I returned. Within just a week of using this filter, I could see a huge improvement, my hair bounced back remarkably. I also use high-quality Italian hair products (Davines), so it’s definitely the combination of a good water filter and excellent hair care that makes the difference. The filter itself is simple to assemble and even comes with a new hose if you want to replace the entire shower fitting. I only attached the shower head, and that was it, easy. Just wanted to leave this review here because the difference truly is noticeable. Highly recommend it if you’re struggling with hard water effects in the UK.
