Great reference materials for Home Schooled kids like ours.
We have purchased many of the Nat Geo books for the kids education. We homeschool so these are a great source reference materials. The illustrations are really well done as are the various write-ups throughout. Our kids love to learn, these series of books helps to make it fun for them too. The photos are a great quality as is to be expected from Nat Geo. There are also a great deal of pages outlining many aspects of not only Nationally recognized tribes but also the smaller State recognized tribes too.

This book has everything!
This is an amazing book. The pictures are breath taking. It is filled with so much information on so many tribes. It clearly explains their customs and locations. I can't wait to give this to my curious granddaughter who is an avid reader. This book is a great value and I would have expected to pay much more for such a beautiful, fact filled book. The format made it very easy to follow. I highly recommend this book to children with good reading skills as well as adults.

Love the book, the photos and the information. A real winner!
My wife is interested in learning more about American Indian Culture, she is a weaver and is interested in knowing more about Native American tribes. She was completly engrossed in the book immediately, and it's giving her a really good perspective of the tribes.A big THUMBS UP!

More appropriate for older children are adults
Not really for the age bracket they say it is. Much more suitable for an adult

This book is worth buying and owning.
I'm half African American and half Native American. I love this book doesn't go into detail about all the Sioux Nation just mostly the Lakota not the Nakota or Dakota and I'm Dakota. But still informative about alot of other Nations.

Un bel testo con tante fotografie, fatto molto bene.

Good content, poor binding (glued, not sewn in signatures)
The content is first class. But: the book is not sewn in signatures, but glued, which makes it impossible to open properly without cracking the spine.
