We purchased a new vehicle and did not want to pay the expense for the upgraded entertainment package on the vehicle. We had previously purchased similar devices from at least 4 another brands that were DVD player only and usually got 4+ years out of those devices. My major complaint of those other devices was that if a hard enough of a bump were hit that the disc could get dislodged and scratched. I found these players which also offer a USB/SD Card option which allows us to convert our movies onto a SD card for the ones that they commonly watch, and still give us the option to watch a DVD. Installation and setup was extremely easy with 2 different options for installation, headreast clamp mount and a strap on option. The screen size is significantly larger than what we had on competitors models, and the quality is great for the price. Each screen gets its own remote, but the only problem we have had is that they run on the same frequency, so it is not uncommon for child 1 to change the volume, chapter, etc... of child 2's TV. We have not used them outside of the vehicle so I cannot fully comment on battery life, but we were a few hours into a trip when the kids complained about the TV's turning off. Apparently I had knocked out the power plug, and wasn't sure when it happened but they had watched at least 1 full movie and were well into another before it turned off. The only other item is that I wished that these would have had a wireless headset option, or even the ability to attach a USB bluetooth receiver. Overall I think these are a great price for a great produt. I would not hesitate to purchase these again.

Great dvd players for long car rides. I love that you can connect the two so the same movie plays on both, or two separate movies can be watching simultaneously. Great quality, great sound and color. Control buttons are easy to use. Screen size is decent. Hard to get anything bigger screen wise. Worth the buy!! Get it for those long road trips with multiple kids to entertain!

We got these last year for our kids. They were easy to install and worked well until a month ago. One of the dvd players stopped working but I emailed the company and they resolved the issues quickly and efficiently. They replaced the dvd player with no charge. Our kids love these dvd players. I like the response of the company.

I bought these as a back up in case my Insignia set from a different store didn’t arrive before our trip. I never intended to use them unless we didn’t receive the others. We got both in the mail the day before we left for our vacation. I decided to compare the sets and ended up going with this one. I really like the seat attachments for these. The brackets are great and the screen and connecting piece can be quickly disconnected if needed. This was a must for us as we didn’t want them sitting in the car overnight in hotel parking lots. They are also adjustable to tilt the screen up and down and a wheel tightens it into place. There is also a strap option but it isn’t the greatest. I’d like it more if it had a clip or buckle so you could set the strap length and not have to fight with getting it tightened up every time. They are also very user friendly. My almost 6 year old had it figured out within minutes and my 3 year old figured out how to play and pause pretty quickly. A single button also switches between the disc and AV in. No scrolling around in settings to switch it. I will say, we didn’t use the AV cord because the picture quality on the second player isn’t really great. Though the picture quality was great if just using a disc. The 12V charging cord can charge both at once. We have a Subaru Ascent which has the 12V plug between the driver and passenger seat in the dash console. I was able to get the cords to reach both players while installed with the brackets. It was very near that 5 hour mark before we had to plug them in. I really love the rechargeable batteries so we don’t always have to have cords attached to them! We did not use the remote controls since our kids could reach the play button with their toes. :-) All in all, I highly recommend!

The WONNIE Blu-Ray DVD Player is a an outstanding Blu-Ray/DVD Player that works with all DVDs (NTSC and PAL, all regions) and many Blu-Ray Discs (Region free and Region A). Over the years, I've purchased several DVDs that were PAL format and/or other than DVD Region 0/Region 1. This machine plays all of those disks with quality as well as all of my other NTSC formatted DVDs and Region free/Region A Blu-Ray discs. Video quality is excellent as expected on Blu-Ray and other recently released DVDs. A pleasant surprise is how well the older DVDs look. The WONNIE player does an excellent job of expanding 4:3 video into a screen-filling 16:9 that has decent resolution when viewing on our 75" Smart TV. Video quality on recent Blu-Ray Disks and DVDs seems equal to that displayed on our other Blu-Ray/DVD player. The older DVDs look much better on the WONNIE player than our other name-brand Blu-Ray/DVD player. The ability to play all DVDs regardless of region and NTSC/PAL format practically pays for the WONNIE player. Some movies and music videos, especially older ones, may only be available in PAL format or one of the many DVD regions that are not compatible with Blu-Ray/DVD players sold and used in the United States and Canada. The WONNIE player allows one to purchase these "non-compatible" disks and play them with quality video and audio. Also, some of these disks are available for purchase at a lower price in PAL and/or other than DVD Region 0/Region1 format. The WONNIE player allows you to make these purchases at a reduced cost. The product description was accurate with regards to what is included with the WONNIE player: 6' HDMI cable, RCA cables, Remote Control and batteries for the Remote. The printed instruction booklet is satisfactory. All in all, I'm very happy with the WONNIE Blu-Ray and DVD player: Quality and value. I plan on purchasing additional WONNIE Blu-Ray DVD Players for other members of my family and friends. It fills a unique place and gap in ones media system.

UPDATE 3/2/24: We recommended them to our parents as we really liked them, so they each bought a set and they were great! Now, none of them read disc's and two of them won't stay shut. So now we have 3 sets of dvd players that don't work...can't even try to switch them out to get a working set and the return windows are all closed. BEWARE OF THIS BRAND...CUSTOMER SERVICE IS USUALLY GREAT BUT YOU WILL NOT FIND A PLAYER THAT LASTS MORE THAN 9 MONTHS UNTIL IT STOPS WORKING! UPDATE 4/17/23: Customer Service reached out to me following this review and offered to replace the defective units. I received them in 3 days after they contacted me and they are working amazing this time! Great customer service as they have emailed to follow up and see if items are working properly. I will update again in a few months after we have used more! Let me start by saying that we loved these when we first got them. They were awesome for our two kiddos on trips and easy to operate. Great sound, able to watch different dvds at once, earphones, etc. Flash forward 2 months and the remote stopped working...no big deal...we just do without because the players are still great! NOW only 6 MONTHS later - they no longer read disc's. They don't spin when you put them in or turn it off and on. We have tried multiple different discs with no luck. It is a shame because we recommended them to friends who bought them...hoping theirs are longer lasting than ours! I would expect more than 6 months use out of them. Don't think we would buy again if we knew this then.

Product arrived in good condition. DVD players were well protected in packaging and screens and other accessories were intact. On opening, the battery had good juice to watch part of a Movie and allowed me to test all the features before having to recharge battery fully. Picture quality was decent for a small 10.5 “ screen and volume was good. Both DVD screens worked well. My kids wear able to watch 2 different movies at same time and we also mirrored a single DVD screen to make sure it was working well. I connected the aux cable to DVD player and to the car and was able to to have the audio play directly on my car speakers. Depending on location of your cigarette lighter (12V auxiliary output) you may need a longer cable if you choose to tuck in the cables under the seat covers (leather) and then hide rest of cables under the front seats to get to the dashboard. If this doesn’t matter to you or you do not want to go through all that work to make it look like a professional installation, then car power cable is sufficient. There are several other charging options included including UK and US outlets which helps if you are traveling with the DVD players. It includes 2 remote controls, 1 for each DVD player. One remote can control both DVD players (just point directly to one you want to control). Strapping the DVD player to the front seat Headrest was easy and 2 options were included. The mounting brackets worked but the DVD player ended up sticking out too far out from the back of the headrest of the front seats. This puts the DVD a bit in the way and at risk of possible damage while entering the car. I secured by using the straps provided and attached it to the headrest connectors and this appeared very study and secure. I will definitely recommend this DVD player to anymore. Quality is very good for the price and its very functional. Time will tell how long battery lasts and hope I can use this for many years to come. Comes with 1 Year warranty

I purchased the Wonnie 10.5" Dual portable DVD players for an upcoming beach trip. Approximately 7 hours of drive time with a 2.5 & 7 year old. To begin with, installation was easy but I did have to modify the clamps that connect to the headrest supports as mine were thicker than most vehicles. It was a simple modification that allowed the clamps to be screwed tightly together around the support posts. The install looks professional and we like how each child can watch the same movie or different movies. I like the fact that the DVD players don't shut off when you turn the vehicle off and also the fact that they are charging via the cigarette lighter port while driving. The remotes work well. Picture quality is good and sound is adequate but could be a touch louder. Not an issue if your child decides to use headphones. Overall, I would recommend these DVD players. It was nice driving without the constant "are we there yet". The only fighting I foresee is choosing which movie to watch. :)

They are very good dvd players. 2 reasons stopping me from giving it 5 stars. 1) the cord connecting the two monitors to eachother, so both monitors play from 1 player, is too short. 2) the stand for the dvd players for when they are out of the car is not sufficient. They fall over all the time. But if you are just keeping them in the car. They work very well.
