Revenge Snails
Overall these were good, though I've had some where I prefer that consistency a bit more. It's really up to eater but this is a whopping amount of snails for the price, so that's what you're getting. However, I am writing this review more to warn anyone purchasing -- beware of revenge snails. I have cooked many a snail in my day, and am used to the popping that can happen as the little morsels simmer in their buttery death. Never have I had a snail jettison itself at my face before, though. These are a bit smaller, so perhaps it was physics that made it possible, but I'd like to believe these particular snails might just be a bit more fresh and still lusting for revenge. French revolution snails? Still holding out a grudge against the Scottish snails? Either way, it hit me in the face. Recommend safety goggles and holding your pan lid like a shield in case your can also comes with flying revenge snails.

Excellent quality
If you rinse before using theses are excellent- large, plump and tender with no grit. Would definitely purchase again.

Perfect Size
These snails were the perfect size to put into snail shells. Others are to large and have to be stuffed in allowing for little garlic butter sauce to be included. Also, this size is more tender. Larger ones tend to be more tough & chewy. Overall, great size, taste, & quality.

Delicious best buy for your money.
Absolutely perfect. So, drop the Escargot them in a muffin tin (or similar, say 2 or 3 per round); Melt a some Butter and Lawry's Garlic spread (50/50), pour it over the Escargot and heat them in an Air Fryer at 400 for about 3 to 4 minutes. An Oven works but that's a lot of heat for a small appetizer. I also like to add finely diced Garlic. So YUM!!!

Very good escargots
Escargots we’re extremely fresh and tasted very good. We used herbs and black garlic to top them off and slow cooked till tender in snail shells.
