Yoogu 6-1/4 inch Replacement Recliner Sofa Chair Mechanism Tension Springs (Pack of 2) Long Neck Hook Style

I had a bad week. I tried to take a bath, the hot water stopped working. I tried to get some coffee, the coffee machine kept giving me water. I sat in my recliner to knit and SNAP- the spring broke leaving me unable to retract the foot rest properly. I was so upset- what could I do? Then I found this set of springs.. WHAT ARE THESE LIKE? These springs are as pictured. They are slightly narrower than the original spring, and the spring area is about an inch longer, but the overall length was the same. HOW DID THIS WORK OUT? I put the recliner in the up position, put the spring in the same way that the other one was and it works as good as new! I have had it on for a week now and it is working fine. I plan to replace the second one as well so both springs are new. THE BOTTOM LINE Even though these measured slightly different dimensionally than the original, the over all length was the same and they work great. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I have my recliner back, my bath water is running hot again, and my coffee maker decided to give me coffee at last! Life is good! :)

fit well

When we purchased our recliner sofa, it never worked the way that it should. It was both difficult to open and close. we had a repairman come out and even though he adjusted it, it still never worked right. I began doubting myself thinking "Well that is the way it is supposed to work". When one of the springs broke, I ordered these replacements. After installing both of them on the recliner, the chair never worked better. I will be ordering another set to do the other side of the sofa soon (even though both of those springs are in tact). Thanks for a great product!

They don't seem as stout at the original black springs that lasted for almost 20 years but, they fit and work and should outlive the remaining years of the recliner. I am very happy to have found an inexpensive solution to my failed recliner that I can't part with yet.

Exactly as described ... a perfect fit!

Our El-Ran reclining chair spring kept breaking. We even went to El-Ran and they could not figure out which spring part it was, even bringing in the broken part to show the customer service. Their replacement was expensive too. So we looked for replacement parts that are affordable and this one fits perfectly our sofa. I will make sure to order a new set just to have those parts handy if ever it breaks again.
