Better than store bought lint traps!
For years I used store bought lint traps. Those small packs that are easily found at the Home Depot, Ace Hardware or grocery stores. The cost can run a few bucks for about 4 pieces. You are lucky if you can find them at the Dollar stores. Due to the constant spend on lint traps I started doing research and was lucky to come across these. If you have an older model laundry machine or have a reason to use lint traps and are constantly replacing them. This product due to its cost, quality and quantity is the BEST buy you could achieve.Per other reviews I started with two. My machine tends to fill a lint trap f a s t!! Using two is grrreat. Just means I can wait extra time before changing them out. You are wondering now, why not just use two store bought lint traps... Not the same. This style acts differently when catching and allows for more usability. Then because of cost and quantity, these are benefits you can't pass up. Since installing two of these lint traps, it's been a few weeks now. Laundry is still working efficiently and keeping lint from clogging my basement sink. I'm floored. Now my problem is that the ol' lady is telling me to upgrade to a newer styled laundry machines for efficiency and product beauty....

Not as good as nylons but cheaper and does what it is designed to do.
Cheap and works just fine. So along with the other reviews you really should use two together as the webbing is rather large for the purpose. Please don't get me wrong it does a good job catching the bigger pieces. But I have always used the wife's old nylons which catches virtually everything! So this is drastically larger. I find that you can just throw out the inside one and use the outside one inside next.... I really like that it comes with zip ties as well that is just a nice benefit. The zip ties seems a little cheap but none have broken yet so it seems fine for the application... I can tell that it's not catching the finer stuff as mentioned earlier I have used the wife's nylons and I know that the smaller stuff is making it's way out the the septic field but it's small enough at that point that it is what it is. The only issue with the nylon and the reason for the switch is that it was such a fine knit that it would grab everything and plug up very quickly and have a musty / egg smell after a short while. So this is more of a cost effective / hopefully less stinky alternative. And so far i have not noticed any more smell from the drain water. :)Good luck and Cheers!John

50 Pack lasted us 7 years.
We just used the very last of our original pack which lasted us 7 years. They're still available so I reordered. See you again in 2030.They do the job fine and are nice and big so they don't need to be replaced often. The amount of lint these catch is amazing, you'd be crazy to cheap out and not use lint traps.

Great product - especially for pet lovers
I can't imagine my laundry life without this product! We used to have long-haired cats, we currently have a dog and a horse. This simple device catches pet hair and lint, preventing it from clogging your laundry sink as the water clears out of your washing machine. Depeding on the amount of fluff on your laundry, you can get quite a few washes out of a single sock. Since I live a high fluff lifestyle, I use just one sock at a time and change it when the schmutz fills up the sock about halfway. A more enterprising person than I could certainly remove the sock, clean it out, and reuse it a few times but I can't bring myself to manhandle the sludge. The included zipties are also good quality FYI!

A must if you have a septic system
With kids and fur babies, these are a must to help keep clothing fibers and pet fur out of our septic tank. Our HE front loader does nothing to keep nasty solids from heading to the septic tank. These filters do the job…
