This is a game changer. I am the one (self-appointed) who cleans the shower traps, which are always badly designed so that hair and gunk conspire to be really difficult and unpleasant to remove. This well-made, thoughtfully designed trap separates gunk and hair. You wipe off the hair from it and the trap below is easier to clean. I am using it on a French shower, don’t know if uk traps are the same size. And you can see when it needs cleaning. It is also an attractive design and shines up well so far.

This is a bit weird, because most shower waste water spaces have a flat surface - after all, you will be standing in the shower, and don't want something sticking up. It works well to trap hair though, but it just looks a bit weird.

I have a Belfast kitchen sink with a standard plug hole that any debris will happily go down. I have bought various sink strainers with varied success, some not fitting the hole properly many sitting too high and not filtering properly. The most successful one I had was a white rubber/elastomer one which had the same profile as this one, it discoloured quickly and looked a bit odd but with a bit of help from me (helping the clogging material to move into the middle so the edges could drain the water) it was the best by far, though a bit difficult to clean, then unfortunately the material started to split at the bottom so I had to look for a new one.I was unable to find another one the same, although I did see this one on Amazon and thought it too expensive so started experimenting with different designs again to no success. After a couple of months and careful measuring (as I had not yet thrown the old failed one away) I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. I am so glad I did, it fits my plug hole perfectly. It is good quality stainless steel which will last and is well worth the money. Also it unscrews into two pieces to make cleaning easier.

I have tried a lot of hair catchers for my shower some have five stars which I would not recommend, this is the best, good quality and does the job.

Never thought the day would come where I would be writing a review about a Drain hair catcher but here I am ha.I've bought a couple of other types of these over the years and I have to say this has been the best one yet. It fits my shower drain perfectly, actually catches hair AND drains the water fairly quickly too. Would recommend.

I looked for a while at what to purchase.Whilst this looks good and feels of a high quality it sadly doesn’t allow the water to drain as quickly as you might need. Especially where there are overhead ‘rainfal’ style showers.This meant that the soap suds and water hangs around longer.

It actually works. Been using it for months. Needs a clean after a few showers but that’s not hard to do

Pas de petits passages ou de picots au niveau de la base de la jupe, donc il reste toujours un peu d'eau qui a tendance à ne pas s'écouler et stagner autour de la coupelle. L'autre modèle de la même marque mais en forme de dome est beaucoup plus efficace, même si moins design/discret.

La trampa para drenaje de cabello no funcionó, todo el cabello se va y no retiene nada. Esta muy bonito pero no sirve para lo que es.

Better than I expected, really useful, block all the hair but not stopping the water, this product is perfect to use for blocking the hair, price is bit high, but it is worth to buy

Perfect! I had a silicone hair catcher before but it was hard to clean and got clogged with conditioner just as much as hair since it had to be thick enough to hold a shape. This one only traps hair and anything bigger than the holes and I like the low profile so I don't accidentally kick it. Easy enough to clean in one piece but the center does come out and the little handle is nice so I don't have to pick it up by gross parts.
