ONKYO HT-S5915 5.1.2 Channel Home Cinema System (HAT-R495 Reciver + HTTP-598 Speaker System Dolby Atmos 3D Room Sound AccuReflex Function Bluetooth Black

I bought this to replace an ageing Sony Blu ray Home Theatre System, plus to rationalise my video and HiFi equipment. My prime consideration was to seek as best quality as I could for a reasonable price and be able to accommodate it in a neat and unobtrusive set-up. First - things to mention are that the receiver unit is quite big, as are the front and centre speakers, so if you are interested in this system do check the dimensions against where you intend to place all of these. I did and found the would fit when I wanted them, though much bigger than the relevant units from my previous system. Second - This does not incorporate a DVD/Blu ray/4K player. It does have 4 HDMI inputs which will perfectly accommodate 4k devices. Care needs to be taken to follow instructions in setting up to allow 'passthrough' for all such devices. The 'User Manual' is downloadable from the Onkyo website, and quite extensive. Having used the system for several weeks now I am still experimenting with settings to get the 'just right' sound set-up for different inputs. Most of the time the receiver will default to the correct surround sound from whichever input, though there is a lot of flexibility for the user to decide. The Dolby Atmos is something to behold and worth finding movies that use that as part of the soundtrack offering - beware of earthquakes and heavy gun fire … in the movies that is. The neighbours haven't complained … yet! This system isn't cheap, though you need to compare against what else is available and at what price. I have referred to as 'budget'. That is my budget and the need to balance that against quality. At the price of this system I think you would have to pay several hundred pounds more to get any better. It suits my budget and a much better system than my old Sony (not that there was anything displeasing about that system, which did incorporate a Blu ray player).

Personalmente contentísimo. Aquí mi lista de pros y contras, notas adicionales, recomendaciones y resumen. Pros: - Es moderno, por lo que tiene soporte para casi cualquier formato (entre ellos DTS:X, que no es habitual) - Viene con micrófono para hacer el tunning de la posición de los altavoces (recomendable poner el micrófono centrado donde se supone que iría tu cabeza en una situación normal, y si cambias la posición de los altavoces, aunque sea solamente un centímetro, vuelve a calibrar, que tiene una precisión de 0.5 cm) - Tiene potencia a raudales - El subwoofer saca sonidos que hacía mucho tiempo que no oía en casa (los sonidos ultra-bajos). Vibra el sofá... y si subo el volumen, vibro hasta yo. Espero no cabrear demasiado a mis pobres vecinos. - Viene con todo tipo de modos para convertir sonido 2.0 en lo que te apetezca (dejarlo en 2.0... ponerlo como 2.1... sacar el sonido por todos los altavoces con diferentes técnicas y ajustes...) - Ningún problema para hacer funcionar el HDMI ARC (importante para las SmartTV) y el HDMI CEC (en LG los llaman SimpLink, en Samsung Anynet+...) - Puedes conectarlo al móvil por Bluetooth sin interrumpir lo que estés viendo por la TV (pulsando "Mode") - Potencia de altavoces de requetesobra para cualquier salón "normal". Sonido potente, claro y sin distorsiones incluso al subir bastante el volumen. Contras: - Tienes que tener un techo liso y sin obstrucciones para que el efecto del Atmos (los altavoces de altura) suenen medianamente como si viniese el sonido de arriba. Por suerte para mi, coincide que sí, y la verdad es que sí que da bastante el pego, eso sí, quizás te toque levantar un poco esos altavoces (y recalibrar) para que la sensación sea más plena. Si están físicamente a la altura de tu cabeza, no darán tanto el pego. Obviamente no son lo mismo que altavoces que estuvieran colgados del techo, pero en mi caso, a mi parecer, como yo no tengo "permiso" de la parienta para colgar altavoces del techo, esta solución no está del todo mal. La mejor manera para probarlos y ajustarlos es usando el vídeo "Atmos helicopter". Volviendo al tema: como tengas un techo irregular, inclinado, muy alto, etc... estos altavoces no "funcionan" como altavoces de techo. - Traen unos cables algo cortos... y muy muy finos. Me he comprado cable con algo más de diámetro y de cobre (NO compréis los de AmazonBasics porque son "recubiertos" de cobre, NO son de cobre entero; hay otras marcas que por más o menos el mismo precio tienes cable de cobre de mucha mejor calidad). Notas que estaría bien saber: - Si lo enchufas a un ordenador, es posible que no te sea sencillo hacer que funcione la parte Dolby o DTS sin problemas. Conseguir que el Bitstreaming funcionara bien me ha costado un poquito, incluso con lo (en teoría) "fácil" que es simplemente poner el VLC en modo passthrough, pero en mi caso tuve problemillas con los drivers para conseguir que no se entrecortara el audio de vez en cuando, pero al final todo bien. El resto de aparatos (consola, Netflix de la SmartTV, etc.) sin complicaciones: enchufar, configurar, y voilà. - No es un aparato sencillo/intuitivo de usar. Hay mil y una opciones, y mil y una configuraciones (todas explicadas en un manual que puedes descargar de la web de Onkyo). Si no te gusta cacharrear... cómprate una barra de esas que están ahora de moda. Recomiendo probar los altavoces con estos vídeos (descargadlos, que están gratis online; NO uséis YouTube): - Dolby Atmos: Amaze / Helicopter / Fury / Unfold / Conductor / Leaf - DTS: Gravity / Sound Check - THX: Deep Note / Deep Note Genesis En resumen: - Por el precio de un amplificador normal (600-800 euros), tienes un amplificador más que decente... con 8 altavoces (5.1.2) y además el setup-mic. Si no se te sale de presupuesto, es una "ganga", ya que por separado, habría que gastarse muchísimo más para conseguir lo mismo. - Calidad de sonido espectacular - Personalización y ajustes "infinitos" - Subwoofer muy MUY profundo y además potente (si quieres puedes hacer que tiemble todo) - Sensación Home Cinema asegurado Eso sí, acompáñalo de una buena tele de 55 pulgadas o más... o, si tienes el espacio: de un proyector decente. Espero que os haya sido útil.

Bought this on first week May. Though I am not an expert to talk about the Sound systems, this choice did not let me down. Did few googling and decided to go for it. Well packed. Even you dumb it, it would not hamper the product. Easy to setup. Great sound and experience for an average sized living room. Worth for this price!

Eine sehr gute Heimkinoanlage,in der Preiskategorie eine der besten,selbst in einem offenen Wohnzimmer zaubert sie unglaublichen Raumklang hervor.Nur die mitgelieferten Kabel sind etwas kurz für größere Räume.
