Delicious smoky tea. May not be to everybody's taste.

This is my only source of Lapsang these days since the supermarkets don't seem to stock it any more. Very happy - the tea is good...it's free delivery for 3 boxes - costs no more than it did in the supermarket (perhaps less?) and arrives promptly - thanks team!

Such a great and refreshing change from regular Breakfast tea and the now, rather pale imitation of Earl Grey tea, that nowadays tastes almost bergamot oil free.This tea is robust and the fragrance is strong. Individually wrapped tea bags ensures the flavour is not lost. Yes, I am aware that leaf tea probably tastes better but for convenience and for the occasional cup of Lapsang Souchong Tea this is a great way of having fresh flavoured tea as a treat rather than a regular thrice daily drink.

I, a typical Brit, love and drink lots of tea and particularly enjoy this Lapsang Souchong. The smoky smell and the great taste. It really is ''My cup of Tea!'', no milk needed. The individual packets Harrogate use for the bags, hold the taste and aroma better than others I have previously tried. I am hard pushed to consider any review of a product 5 stars, but this tea came close.

Smells good but not as I remember from 70s

The individually bagged lapsang souchong preserves the bite of the smokiness that the loose leaf tea tends to lose in just a short time. This is the ideal lapsang to get. Highly recommended!

This tea is extremely unique and different, it smells like pine smoke but the taste is smoother than almost any other tea I have had. It doesn't taste like smoke and once you get over the smell it's very drinkable without leaving the fuzzy dry mouth feel of most black teas. I saw another brand of this tea on amazon which is smoked with pig fat. That is super gross and I'm really glad I ordered this one instead, it is smoked with clean pine and it smells clean and rich, but the smooth complex flavour was the biggest surprise because it didn't taste smoky or heavy. Small box is a great sampler size without spending too much, but I suspect you will be buying again after trying especially if you like to smoke or toke with your tea.

Evidently this was one of the original t's pitched overboard during the Boston tea party. That was for a 2% tax so Americans be ashamed. Anyway it's got a smokey earthy flavor that is so excellent. I don't think this is one that you would ever want to add sugar or anything else to. Pick some up and it will be on your regular rotation I promise you
