Leaper Retro Canvas Messenger Bag — Unisex Crossbody Shoulder Sling Bag for Travel, Work & Daily Use

These Leaper crossbody bags are very well designed. This Sky Blue "Large" sized unit is my second one of these bags. The first one was a "Medium" sized unit, purchased last year. They are constructed very well, with quality stitching and durable, well-made fabrics. These bags have very good storage capacity. This "Large" bag can hold a 40 ounce Owala Freesip water bottle vertically with ease. There is plenty of room also for food items like granola bars and a sandwich, too. My mobile phone fits well in the zippered compartment in the messenger flap for easy access. The strap is long, adjustable and comfortable. This bag is a great accessory for a day outing. Definitely recommended!!!

After purchasing and subsequently returning many bags to be used as a medical HEAT Kit (a bag containing meds and information to treat my particular rare disease) this was the first that allowed full use of the dimensions advertised. Most of the openings were smaller than the actual measurements on other bags. For example, I carry an IPad with complete medical information. Although many bags should have been able to carry it, the openings would not allow the iPad to actually get in the bag. Other nice features included the ability to carry it cross body on either side just by shifting the strap. I also found some bags that did most of what I needed but this particular bag allowed carrying it with a handle as well as the shoulder strap, nice for entering and exiting my vehicle. The abundance of pockets for organizing my contents was also very important. Carrying multiple categories of accessibility aides, it was nice to organize same. If there was a negative (and it is tiny) I would have loved to have rubber feet or maybe some sort of protective bottom to the bag so that the canvass would not wear out as fast. Weight and ease of carrying were also of great importance. My particular disease leaves me weak on some days and carrying a heavier bag or one that didn’t leave my hands free was just not an option. The multiple attachment points for the shoulder strap also made for excellent places to attach it to my rolling walker. Again keeping my hands free to hang onto the walker or handrails. All in all, a great bag for the money and far out performed much more expensive bags for my purpose. I did buy a couple since they were so well suited for my purpose.

I LOVE this bag. I got it to carry my new MacBook (13 inch) in, and so that it could be my designated “writing bag” and it’s the perfect size. It has the perfect amount of pockets. What I really like is how strong and thick the zippers are! The canvas material is also really sturdy. I also like the way it looks. It could also be a good diaper bag. It’s very diverse and would make a great gift. The internal padding is thin, and the shoulder pad on the strap can dig into the neck a bit, but that’s not an issue to me.

Bag is great, well-made with sturdy construction. Only have used it 2 days, so not sure where we will be with wear and tear. Took 1 star because while the strap is perfect for cross-body, there isn't a good way to shorten it for over one shoulder carrying. Found a work around, but taking 1/2 star isn't a thing.

Just got this bag in the mail today and it's so good! I love the blue color and it looks true to the listing. There is plenty of room in the pouches for what I need to bring with me and the strap is comfortable on my shoulders. The zippers feel really nice and pull smoothly. Inside the main pocket there's a laptop sleeve on one side and a couple small pockets on the other. The other large pocket under the flap doesn't have any dividers in it but is a great size. I haven't had the chance to use it much since I just got it, but it feels like it's going to last a very long time and I'm impressed.

LOVE this bag!!! Rugged canvas shell with a soft satin lining adequately padded on the body side to easily hold an 11 inch tablet or laptop and provide it adequate protection. The bag features a roomy interior, about 3 inches wide, that is protected by a large metal zipper that runs from left, over the top to the right. The interior has multiple compartments with a zippered pouch on the body side for your more valuable items. Blow it a roomy pouch that spans the width of the interior. On the front side, two smaller pouches are sewn onto the siding. The front features a large flap secured with two rugged magnets that conceal a second zippered compartment about an inch thick with the front side lined in satin. On the outside of that compartment is another open pouch, both sides lined in satin as well, and is well protected by the flap. The flap itself has a vertically zippered compartment large enough for quick access to items like glasses or remotes. The magnets are concealed behind two buckled straps that are both sewn and rivited onto the flap, although the buckles are more decorative than functional. The shoulder strap design is one of the most secure I've seen. A wide padded shoulder strap that is an essential structure to the bag itself is heavily stitched to a thick, polished cotton belt that is generously adjustable. The belt is connected to loops on either side of the bag with a swiveling, spring loaded latch that floasts along the belt. The loops are heavily sewn to patches that are also an integral structure of the bag, allowing you to wear it on either side of your body. The front has a well balanced loop securely sewn onto the base of the front compartment; hanging a full water bottle is barely noticed, allowing for easy access and it does not weigh down the bag, cause it to malform, or reduce the functionality in any way. This bag is great for financial couriers, bankers or my colleagues in the bar business who are looking for a more crime-proof solution. Overall: This bag is just the right size!!! It is roomy, comfortable, highly functional, and comes in a multitude of colors; I purchased the brown. Very casual yet sophisticated. I would highly recommend this bag as a gift, or for yourself. Had it for travel and can accomodate 15.6 laptop, 12 inch tablet, their chargers, a binder. I can say it is as durable as can be. Zippers and carry strap did not gave up at all. Although strap are sturdy, they are to long and not adjustable. Tad bit heavy even empty but if it adds to durability i won't mind.

This bag is perfect for me. I want to specify that I got the medium size (no one ever makes that clear in their reviews so I was really nervous that the smaller of the two sizes would be too small). This perfectly fits my ipad air 2, my small sketchbook, and a reading book, with room to spare. In the front pockets I have a collection of Copic markers, my sketch pencils, inking pens, eraser, and a few other art supplies for drawing/coloring on the go. I tested this and it also fits my D&D sized books. I have several books, and they obviously wont ALL fit, but I was literally amazed as I managed to put in the 3 core rule books, my DM screen, and my Out of the Abyss setting. My dice and a small collection of miniatures fit in the front. So while this technically wont hold everything I need to DM my D&D game, it is more than enough for the Players Handbook, iPad, dice, sketchbook and minis that I need as a player. For those with less nerdy needs for this bag, I imagine it could easily hold a change of clothes, some bathroom supplies, and some gadgets for an overnight stay, or would be an ideal carry-on bag for plane travel. There is only one con to this bag, and it's more a con to me than the bag. I am an overweight woman, and so the strap does not fit across my chest as it would a normal sized person. To hold it in place the strap actually cups one of my breasts and looks awful. So instead I sling it over just one shoulder and carry it that way. I've already lost 40 pounds and I am looking forward to loosing more so that when this bag does fit me as it should I can use it to go hiking and bring snacks, water, my phone, and my sketchbook so I can draw wherever the path takes me. The bag is sturdy, the materials are quality, it has tons of little compartments to keep all your stuff organized, and the design of the shape of the bag allows you to fit a lot more than one would expect without the bag appear to bulge and get all rounded and overstuffed. It holds its squarish shape when full. This bag is perfect and I may end up getting the larger one to be my new D&D bag, maybe in a different color.

La calidad y presentación/diseño son buenos pero me llegó el tamaño equivocado y ahí no cabe mi iPad ya estoy haciendo la devolución. Les contaré luego cómo me fue. La verdad está muy bonita y si la quiero, pregunta al proveedor ¿si tienen en Grande? Para volverla a pedir una vez que la devolución se complete.

Me encantó la mochila. Es cómoda, práctica y le caben muchas cosas. Es un producto de muy buena calidad. Aunque no entiendo cómo funcionan los cables USB y de audio. Fuera de eso, muy recomendable.

Sin duda alguna se ha vuelto mi favorita para poder transportar objetos y andar de día a día, con gran capacidad de almacenamiento y buen material de la misma.

Just a request: can the inner/smaller zipped pocket also have two zippers? I usually swing it around to the front under my right shoulder, but I can't easily access the smaller zipped pocket because it's only on one side.

Muss ehrlich sagen, ich hätte nicht all Zuviel erwartet. Ist ja ein recht günstiger Preis. Lieferung, war zügig. Verpackung gut. UNd ich bin begeistert. Die Tasche ist recht anständig verarbeitet, die Zips gut gängig, die Aufteilung der Fächer, gut durchdacht. Kurzum, ich bringe tatsächlich mehr unter als gedacht. Sogar der IpadPro paßt perfekt rein. Habe mir die Tasche gekauft, weil ich bis dato mit Rucksack unterwegs war. INliner, Rad, oft zu Fuß. Und irgendwie hat der Rucksack genervt, sieht auch immer ein bissl "naja" aus. Mit der Tasche fühle ich mich sehr wohl, habe sie auch schon bei diversen Aktivitäten getestet, kein Verrutschen, trägt sich super. Merci vielmals
