Does this product contain alcohol?

To the best of my knowledge this product does NOT contain alcohol. There is no specific list of "ingredients". On the bottle it says "contains a specially refined product of paraffin hydrocarbons." It also recommends cleaning product from the skin with soap and water and or alcohol. Hope this information helps.

Will this remove left over residue on the skin after the tape has been removed. I am forever sticky.

We haven't tried it on old sticky places, but it should work fine. There is no residue when you use it to remove a bandage.

It says "A specially refined produce of paraffin hydrocarbons." Also, "petroleum distillates." Elsewhere it says "Does not contain acetone, benzene, chloroform or Ether." Is non-explosive, and doesn't sting. We've used it for years, and it can remove even the stickiest of tape.
