Is the vest type ii or type iii

I believe its a type iii, but Im not at the house now. But I will tell u it runs small. My husband is 220 lb andthe oversized one just fits him. I wear the large. It is very comfortable. It has clasps but no zipper. For the money its great. I use it to kayak.

Yes, the universal size is OK for large children. I am a misses dress size 0-2 which is slightly larger than a size 14-16 in girls clothing. The universal life jacket is a bit big on me, but can be adjusted to fit me.
