Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Lotion - 1 Oz, 1 Ounces

I absolutely love this product! I had a severe reaction to a prestige brand of skincare I had been using on and off for YEARS and experienced sudden swelling, redness and eczema around my eyes. I was mortified and after a lot of research, figured out the culprit ingredient which is also in most of the other products I had been using for decades. After using over the counter hydrocortisone cream and this moisturizer together for a week, my symptoms finally subsided an my under eye skin looked normal again. Now that you know my story, let me tell you why I LOVE this moisturizer... it has no fragrance at all, very lightweight and creamy, absorbs quickly and I swear my face looks younger after using this for 3 weeks. (I'm 63) A little bit goes a long way so the value for the cost is excellent. I will be using this forever and plan to buy other products from Weleda to complete my skincare routine. Happy customer for life, try it, you won't regret it!!

OMG, I absolutely LOVE the Weleda Almond line. I have super dry and sensitive skin and was so desperate to find something that would moisturize without making me break out like when I was a teenager. After trying several Weleda products (selected because they are good on sensitive skin), I finally settled on a combination of Almond products. This almond sensitive skin lotion is amazing! I was worried to use a concoction of products containing oils on my face, but I have never broken out after using this (have been using it for over a year, now). I start with the almond oil, followed by this almond facial lotion and finish with cold cream. This trio packs an amazing punch of moisture. It does stay "oily" on my face for about 15 minutes and then it absorbs, leaving my skin smooth and ready for makeup. It has softened my skin, reduced the appearance of blemish scars and really softened my laugh lines and eye wrinkles. I love the way it smells (yes, a little "health food" store-ish) and the smell is not overwhelming at all. I get the best results when I remember to wash my face before bed and use the same trio. I wake up and my face is soooooooooo soft. I love using whatever combination of these on my kids during the summer for sun-induced dry skin and in the winter when their skin starts to crack from the cold dry. They use a much lighter moisturizer on their faces that usually does the trick, but when that isn't enough, two days of putting this combination on and they are good as new! A tube of this will last me 4 - 6 weeks, depending on how dry they weather makes my skin!

I was looking for a gentle moisturizer and soother for my irritable sensitive skin, and I've always been impressed with the Weleda line, and based on the other good reviews, I purchased this. So far it is really gentle and soothing, just as its name implies. It's surprisingly absorbent, meaning it has little 'slip' to it, you put it on and your fingers don't even feel like anything was on them a second later. I use Retin A on my skin a few times a week (for collagen building, anti aging effects), but although I love the long term effects, it creates a lot of flakiness and I need something soothing for the 'off days' when I don't use it, and this seems like a good bet for that. It has seemed to quiet down some of my redness. It is a tiny amount, but I am using just a little bit, and mixing it with another cream I use (an oxygen cream sold by a professional makeup store), and the two together really give my skin a bright but calmed look. But if one was using this product undiluted to apply to the entire face, using even once a day, you would very likely go through a tube in two weeks.

My quest to find a moisturizer that is natural, effective on my dry skin, and free of the essential oils my skin hates has led me here. I have been using this for a few months now and am pretty hooked on this one. I have dry skin and live in a dry, high altitude area, so I live and die by the quality of my moisturizer. I find most moisturizers are watery and do very little on my skin. With most I have tried, I feel moisturized for a while after applying at night, but I wake up in the morning to find dry patches on my face. This one lasts all night! The formula is a nice consistency and has a good thickness to it- it feels creamy, not watery. For me it is instantly soothing and moisturizing. I use it morning and night, and if I feel I need a little extra moisturizing power, I just add two drops of squalane or jojoba oil in my hand before applying. Really the only issue I have with this is that the container is so tiny! One tube lasts me about six weeks, using this twice a day. If you have dry skin and are sensitive to citrus essential oils like me, this one is definitely worth a try.

Finally a lotion that works. I have extremely dry skin, while simultaneously oily around my eyes and nose crevice. This is the product for you if you want to finally give your skin a chance to repair itself correctly and feel good about it. I have tried so many products I can't even begin to count. They are always too expensive, don't work, too oily, dries out skin, etc. This has no drawback, you can sleep with it on your skin and you actually feel the lotion being absorbed into your skin. Because it's natural, you get a lot more for your money (it's thicker and applies over more area compared to thin watery products that go by fast). This will last a little while even though it's 1 oz! I wasn't sure if I wanted to give Weleda a try or not, but my life is now changed because I did. If other products and brands aren't doing it for you, I HIGHLY recommend you give Weleda a chance. Also, some people said that the skin food works better for their dry skin. If this doesn't work you should give that one a shot. After I run out of this I will try it and compare the two. Thank you Weleda, you have a customer for life!

First, the positive. This lotion is a great texture. Now that the weather is cold and dry, it's the perfect consistency to keep my skin moisturized but not greasy. The almond smell is not my favorite (I prefer unscented facial lotions), but it is mild so it's fine. Cons: wow, this is a small size for the price! I knew in advance it was one ounce, but seeing it in person drove home that this is an expensive product. This tube will likely last me about a month. For what it's worth, Amazon's price does seem a good $2-5 cheaper than you would find it on other sites. I like it quite a bit, but it looks like my search for a good natural (and affordable) face cream continues.

Ive tried plenty of face moisterizers to no avail. Either they would be too creamy and not absorb and leave my face feeling oily, or they would fail to keep my face moisterized and I would get dry flaky skin (especially around my nose). I had read somewhere that somebody used almond oil for a moisterizer and they swore by it, so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! It is very light weight and a little goes a long way. It absorbs quickly and it leaves your face feeling very fresh and soft. Better yet, I have yet to notice my face drying out through out the day, so it does a fantastic job for keeping you moisterized all day long. It is meant for sensitive skin but it is very powerful. My face gets a little red after using my cleanser and toner, and this moisterizer calms my skin right down and gets rid of the redness.

I recently have tried this in place of the Glossier Milky Jelly. I was tired of all the steps required by Glossier, the migraine triggering scents, and the failure to keep my very dry skin moisturized. I have been using this Weleda Cleansing Lotion for two days and I’m obsessed!!! No strong scent and it feels incredibly nourishing and gently on my skin. I follow up with the Weleda Sensitive Skin Oil and Lotion and my face is 100000% more moisturized than the 4 Glossier steps. My skins doesn’t burn, break out or feel tight either. I will 1000% be buying Weleda from here on out.

This is the only cream that my daughter can use on her face. It doesn't cause any kind of reaction to her sensitive skin and it is nice and light.

Ich habe eine Mischhaut mit glänzenden Partien und dem Hang zu Unreinheiten und leide seit wenigen Jahren dazu noch an Rosazea und vertrage seither viele Cremes gar nicht. Die Weleda leichte Mandelcreme hat nur 9 ausgewählte Inhaltsstoffe und ist für mich einfach perfekt. Die meisten Hersteller bringen leider nur Cremes für sensible und zugleich trockene Haut heraus. Da führen bei mir dann zwar nicht unverträgliche Inhaltsstoffe zu Rosazeaschüben sondern schlicht das zu viel an Fett. Um so mehr freue ich mich, dass Weleda auch an den sensiblen Mischhaut-Typ gedacht hat und neben der reichhaltigen Variante auch diese leichte Creme anbietet. Die Creme ist sehr ergiebig, lässt sich sehr gut verteilen und hinterlässt ein schön weiches, nicht klebendes Hautgefühl. Sie mattiert zwar nicht, aber meine Haut glänzt durch sie auch nicht mehr wie ich es sonst von vielen Cremes kenne. Sie ist parfumfrei, duftet auf Grund der Inhaltsstoffe ganz leicht nach Mandel. Ich mag das sehr. Hautreizungen werden schnell gemildert. Ich bekomme keine Unreinheiten, was sonst leider auch häufig der Fall ist. Ich kann diese Creme hier sehr empfehlen. Für alle mit Mischhaut, egal ob empfindlich oder nicht. Wer Rosazea hat: bei mir ist die Creme selbst während eines Rosazeaschubes therapiebegleitend (!) sehr gut verträglich gewesen. Nach Abklingen der Rosazea verwende ich sie einfach weiter als Tages- und Nachtcreme und kann mir sicher sein, dass sie zu keinem neuen Rosazeaschub führt.

Crème visage parfaite pour ma peau mixte a tendance déshydratée, laisse la peau douce sans fini désagréable, très appréciable par ces chaleurs ! Mais article arrivé sans son opercule de protection sur l’embout, j'achète régulièrement des produits de la marque et cela veut dire qu’elle a déjà été ouverte !! Vraiment pas pro, je n’ai pas la possibilité d’aller en acheter une neuve en magasin et je n’ai pas d’autre crème, qu’est que je fais ?!
