it doesnt work properly it has no sound and sound will not come on yes we have it in on position dissatified the other one i bought from gundo works fine

I was really looking forward to being able to take care of neopets away from my computer but was VERY disappointed!

I thought this game would be an oppurtunity to play Neopets in the car on long road trips, or something of the sort. But gameplay is very limited, and actually slightly confusing. Some disappointing discoveries I made were that toys break after your Neopet plays with them a mere two or three times, and there isn't a good selection of items to buy. The graphics are, of course, the colorless, boxy kind. Overall, I would say that this game definately wasn't worth the twenty-some dollars my brother paid to buy this for me. Now the game just sits in my room, collecting dust, I suppose. My brother has two Pocket Neopets, and plays with them as much as I play with mine. I'd say buy some other kind of handheld game and stick to the internet Neopets.

Fun to play

This review is actually for the Pocket Neopets: Aisha, but they all seem to be in the same line of products. My 6 year old daughter enjoyed the toy and loved taking care of it, but after less than a month the toy stopped working. It wasn't a matter of the batteries; it simply ceased functioning. It was quite distressing for my daughter, as she had spent so much time building up the her pet's health, intelligence, happiness, neopoints, and trophies, and they were all lost forever. Because she had put so much time into it and personalized it, she felt like her pet died, and it was a loss.

It's kinda fun, but gets repetitive before too long.Biggest problem: the in-game item codes DO NOT WORK! If you're on NeoPets, you will have to contact the Support Team to get a new working code to get the "special item" from the game itself. (Although as of this writing, they had not yet activated the Krawk, Tonu or Grundo items.) Good luck there, you'll likely get the run-around. Hopefully they will improve their technical help in the future.Also, the painted on details WILL wear off with minimal usage. I found after just a couple of plays all the black details had rubbed off on my hands. Bleah.Still, if you're into NeoPets, you may enjoy it for awhile. Just be warned you may end up very frustrated.
