Great Bank!!
I love this bank!! I have so much change just lying around everywhere in my house and with this bank it can all go in one place! What I realty like about this bank is that it keeps a running total of all the money I decide to put into it. Now like some of the other reviews, it can be quite tedious to put all the money in the bank. However, in my opinion it is worth it just because of how great it is to see how much change I actually have!! I have such a hard time saving change, because I just keep taking the money out of the bank (which definitely defeats the purpose), but with this bank it helps that I have to keep the money in the bank or else the total will be off. I would recommend this bank to anyone who wants to save money. It may seem like a steep cost at 18 dollars, but it is totally worth it in the end. Especially when you can see the money just stacking up!

Showing You Your Money
I bought this for my 4-year-old son. He loves being able to save his money somewhere and see it accumulate. The counting feature on top is somewhat useful in the sense that it briefly flashes the amount of each coin that you insert, which eventually may help him differentiate between denominations. On the other hand, the cumulative counter is of little use as it's really only accurate when filling it for the first time from empty. Thereafter, as you pull money out, etc., it's going to obviously be wrong. Great, affordable "bank" for kids. Plastic has "Rainy Day Fund" stamped in it; which was not obvious to me from the Amazon listing. It's not very conspicuous, though.

Great, simple, works as intended
Works as a simple coin jar.People that are commenting that it is inaccurate please note there is a spring loaded mechanism that sits in the coin slot. When you insert a coin the coin pushes this spring loaded mechanism to the side. This is how it determines the denomination of the coin you inserted. If you only get a coin halfway in and don't commit to pushing the coin past the slot all the then the mechanism pushes the coin back towards you but it still counts it.If you have a lot of change you want to insert into this product right away you may have a bad user experience as it would be tedious to push all that change through the slot in one sitting. But if you are just starting then it isn't noticably tedious.

Time will Tell.
Works as expected. Somewhat difficult to insert the smaller coins. I gave them as gifts to my nephews (4 and 6) and they had trouble pushing the coin in smoothly. If you don't push the coin in smoothly in one fluid motion, the reading sometimes doubles or triples. You can correct this by pushing the +/- button but it's a hassle.

Perfect for collecting all the spare change!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Everywhere I turned, there was always spare change stuffed in a random drawer or place, and it ultimately got lost, forgotten or worse. Now whenever I find spare change, it has a home. I love that the digital reader keeps track of how much money has been put in the jar and has manual buttons to adjust the amount as needed. I noticed that if you do not commit to fully pushing in the coin or do so too slowly, it can misread the amount. Otherwise, it does just fine determining the type of coin.

Good. And after a year it still works.
Shipped in a reasonable amount of time. The my roommate loves it, and puts all her coins in it, which helps keep them off of the carpet or scattered through out the apartment. She loves that she can watch her money count go up.Definitely recommend for those who leave their change everywhere. You'll find you save a lot more and it doesn't get lost so easily.Surprisingly it has been about a year, and it still works. Batteries have not run out, and it still keeps count wonderfully.

It's a fun way to save your loose change
It's a fun way to save your loose change. Every time I have a pocketful I put the coins in and it senses the coin by size and provides a digital read-out of the on-going tally. I've got about $16 in a little over a month.

Good buy don't flinch or hesitate when adding coins.
Sometimes if you hesitate before putting the coin all the way in, it will count that into the total amount of coins in the bank, throwing the count off. Works by the little gray lever in the top when a coin is inserted the lever will travel back "x" amount of millimeters and select the presumed width of the coin and calculate that into the total.

I don't know if mine was defective but this is by far the worst product I've ever bought off amazon
Didn't work half the time, and the numbers barely showed or didn't at all. I don't know if mine was defective but this is by far the worst product I've ever bought off amazon.
