I was expecting up to 20 pieces that I would have to put together by deciphering some convoluted pictures. Well although the instructions are in Chinese and you really have to take a minute and look closely at the pics, the total number of parts was only like 8 pieces and went together pretty easy. If you plan on using sand, like I did, I suggest that be step one. After putting the stand together I put it right to use. I have a 17" 6lb laptop I threw on it. Adjusting the arm couldn't be easier. Using one hand under your computer you take your other hand and push up on the locking knob. Once unlock you just guide the computer to the height you want. You and the power of gravity guide it right in. Up until now there hasn't been a stand that could handle this huge gaming laptop. The stand is very versatile and can accommodate limitless positions. Tall enough for you to stand up and work, adjustable enough so you sit on the floor. It's amazing. At least for me it's the best stand I've ever had. A quality product. Ironically as I'm writing this, my second one just arrived! Time to get to work.

So all-in-all this is really awesome minimalistic mobile desk to have, and surprisingly very hard to find anything quite like it. Feels sturdy and stable enough to not be worried that the laptop will topple over. I actually accidentally hit it once when I got up quickly from the chair and it didn't move much. Few annoying things though: 1. Assembly is not well explained. Still got an extra gasket and bolts I have no clew how/where they supposed to go. Also some rubber piece fell off during unpacking and no idea where it belongs. General craftsmanship isn't very high quality. 2. It locks ok on the way down but has freedom to move on the way up. Should have been locked both directions and released by lever only when needed adjustment. 3. The wheels are cheap and flimsy. I expect those to be first thing wear/break. But it does it's purpose and adjusts to a vast range of heights and distances so I can easily switch from office chair to bar stool to sofa to bed and this will allow me a perfect position at will. Hopefully they will improve it in the future iterations.

Update April 2023 OK, you may think I'm crazy but I love this design so much that I bought one more hoping that I would get an arm assembly that lasted as long as the first one. And, I did, but only for four months until the upper arm froze up again. There is a reason they keep dropping the price--$300 to $270 to its current price of $240. It's about the same price now of the LEVO G2-801, which does not have the extensability but may last longer. Stay tuned... Update Nov 2023 I finally broke down and bought a new one because I loved this device so much, when it worked. Putting it together was a 2.5-hour project, much easier than the first one due to new assembly instructions in English. However, it came with the major breakdown of the first chair: the upper arm will not snap out of the perpendicular (vertical) position. I am soooo disappointed as that is the primary feature that distinguishes it from all lesser competitors. Got it today and now I have to pack it up for a return. Boo, hiss! Update Jan 2023: Originally purchased in Nov 2019 for $300 and, as the first paragraph indicated, I loved it. Then last year the mechanism for releasing the arm wouldn't allow the upper section attached to the holder to move out of its perpendicular position, limiting it's flexibility. Then, las week, the holder for the laptop broke and will not hold multiple angles. Searched online to see if anyone had developed an equivalent, but no, this still seems to be the best alternative, so I may have to buy another. I see that there have been a couple of improvements and for something I use every day, it still seems like a good deal, and it is $50 cheaper... Original Review: After my frustration at not finding an essential piece for assembly (the plug for the plastic weight container (for water/sand) and realizing that there were no assembly instructions in English (Chinese only), I decided to give it another go after a good night's sleep. Turns out that the plugs (there actually was a second one for another part) were not in the small parts bag, but floating around in another, unrelated, box. I followed the pictures on the Chinese assembly sheet and, with a couple of missteps, was able to complete the assembly. I made the extra effort because I couldn't find any other laptop device that came close to the features on this one. I put my laptop on it and put it through its initial paces and it looks like it has the flexibility that I am looking for.

while working at the couch or bed -- wherever ....it works like a charm. On the couch as I type here :-) I used lead blocks to balance it. The main upright shaft -- I removed the top with the 3 curved tubes and dropped in lead blocks -- 6 of them.. BUT you can use any lead you can find .. fishing sinkers - lead pipe - bullet lead...anything lead for the weight. ... The plastic piece included -- supposed to put sand in ?? No way. it will be in the "way"...and look awful. Mine is balanced perfect //// no tipping whatsoever ... Buy one folks - they are super....

We bought two, one for myself and the other for my wife. What a journey. Firstly, most holes were not threaded properly, some holes weren't at all. The build quality is sturdy, but what a pain. Secondly, there is no English instructions included. I wound up using the translate app with Google lens to see the instructions. This thing is great to use, but quite a pain to get in and out of a good position. Once you get used to it, it's better, but I certainly would never paid this much for what I received. You'd expect for how much money it was to be of good quality. But here we are.

I needed a laptop stand that I could use in my recliner when in various positions and wouldn't be inhibited by the arms or footrest. When I'm relaxing I want my keyboard to be in an ergonomic position so I font end up with neck and shoulder pain. I spend a lot of time on the computer. I'm s graphic designer and have 3 channel shops. The base is weighted by water and moves over my tile beautifully. The only negative is that in some positions where the body is extended completely, the unit can bounce too much when I'm typing away. I've discovered that I can combat this by wither changing the position or if that's not possible, prop a tall kitchen trash can or stool under an edge to prevent movement. Not the most elegant solution but it gets the job done. This rolling tray is far better anything else out there as far as versatility, especially for recliners in my opinion.

I love the product idea/design! Problem are: 1. The ballast water tank had a crack on the bottom corner 2” long that leaked, second possible crack on bottom that did not leak. This looked like damage was in the factory since the box and shipping looked in fine shape. 2. The 4 screws to fasten the table to the metal bracket were listed as M6 they required an M5 of the same length. I needed to go out to purchase the correct screws. The insert in the table were just simple plastic with little holding strength. 3. Instruction booklet was so tiny 2” x 4” when unfolded. Print was very tiny and most difficult to read. Lay out of the parts were so small that if you aren’t mechanically inclined you would not be able to install. I will be keeping the product due to nice design and once assembled I do not want to go through the process of assembly the second time! I am requesting that they send me a non damaged ballast tank!!! For the cost of this product they should pay more attention to a few details so that assembly and safe use are not compromised!

j'adore mon bureau mobile! je peux travailler de partout dans mon logement! il est facile a assemblé ! il est parfait pour moi qui ait un handicap et ais besoin de changer de position pour travailler seule bémol, le livret est en chinois... j'aurais aimer en francais ou en anglais! de puis il devais y avoir un bras de controle pour l'angle de la tablette, mais c'est une petite goupille difficile a atteindre! mais mis à part le montage qui est pas simple simple! J'adore mon bureau mobilie ! Je l'utilise maintenant depuis plusieurs année et il a grandement amélioré ma qualité de vie pour mes moment de travail ou de loisir sur l'ordinateur. De plus il est très robuste et a toujours l'air neuf même apres 3 ans (sauf peut-être la petite tablette blanche qui elle a un peu changer de couleur) mais je prévois la recouvrir pour remédier a la situation! Bref un super bon achat!

This is not worth the money that it is sold for! It is not sturdy. I thought for the price it would be quality! WRONG! I do not recommend this product. I also am quite certain i got a returned item as the screws were in a zip lock bag.

Revolutionary design! Height could be higher and strength be better. When sitting the design is perfect!
