The adhesive is very strong and easy to use. Installation is just like any other adhesive. I bought this for my sliding door closet—I have four cats that know how to open it. Functionality is perfect and it keeps my cats out and safe in case they lock themselves in. Just install it in the middle and it prevents from both sliding doors from opening.

Must have for toddlers. Probably best used in addition with other safety options, but this one is very easy and works great at keeping 2 year olds from escaping. I use it on my glass slider only.

I can’t give these enough stars, I was so tired of cat hair on the bottoms of all my clothes! I resorted to garment bags for all my dresses skirts and long jackets etc. It was a pain to get things out of my closet and I couldn’t see most of my clothes in them. These things work great on double sliding closet doors and are simple to install and you just press the lever down and the doors slide right open. I couldn’t be happier, they stick on so good. Great price, got 4 for under $10. If you have pets and want them to stay out of your closet buy these!

They work great for keeping the door closed. I use it to keep my cat out of our sliding closet doors and it's great. They're just a bit flimsy is my only complaint but they get the job done

Easy way to secure doors and baby proof. I put two on each door and it feels secure.

I have a second floor condo with a slider than opens to a small covered patio. One side has a door to an outside storage closet but the other side is just a screen attached to the wooden and steel support/divider bars. If someone wanted to break in, the steel bar is only about 4 feet high, so one could easily cut the screen and climb over. Although my neighborhood doesn't see a lot of crime (that I am aware of) after the insane COVID experience and Greed becoming the buzzword for 2022, I don't mind taking a few extra precautions for safety's sake. The cool nights only last for a short time in Florida and I love to open the windows at night -it can keep my condo cool for the entire next day, no A/C needed, but I didn't open the slider, until now! What a difference. I placed one of the neat little gadgets with the door closed, then 2, one on top 1 on bottom, with the slider open about 8 inches. That's enough to let fresh air in, but not nearly wide enough for even a small person to fit thru. I placed them as soon as they arrived, then about 24 hrs later I opened them to test the strength. I noticed 2 things- one, they held fine, but two, the "clomp" sound when the door hit the locks, made enough noise that it would immediately wake me up, ready to reach for Reddy Beddy (my baseball bat.) So after all that, I am super pleased with this purchase.

Ended up using super glue due to it popped off. Dont think it was a defect in the product but rather the surface of the sliding door. Otherwise a great purchase, my toddler cannot slide the closet doors open anymore. Only advice would be to avoid putting them up to high due to the sliding door would tilt off track when moved. Once I lowered it, it works fine.

Ignore the bad reviews, these are amazing, nice and discreet, they don’t have complicated installation and with a strong and determined toddler they’ve withstood the damage

Ça fait le boulot. C'est bon pour empêcher un enfant d'ouvrir, par exemple, en grand une fenêtre qui donne sur une piscine, mais ne comptez pas dessus pour empêcher un cambrioleur d'entrer. Malgré tout, c'est bien fait. En cas de besoin, un adulte peut désenclencher ces bidules et ouvrir grand la fenêtre sans avoir à les retirer. C'est simple et efficace – pour empêcher un enfant de faire une bêtise, rien d'autre. C'est en plastique, c'est discret, ça fait le travail.

This 4‑pack of sliding door locks was a solid addition to our home. Super easy to install without needing special tools. Since putting them up, our daughter can’t open the doors and risk jamming her fingers or getting into wardrobes she shouldn’t be near. We’ve placed them high up, out of her reach, and they do exactly what we needed. Would highly recommend for peace of mind and toddler safety.
