Most important safety gear item I own
These are amazing! I started to learn how to roller skate at the age of 50. I bought these after a friend told me about them after I fell and suffered a nasty tailbone injury. Once I healed up and returned to skate I wore the padded shorts. I've fallen numerous times and these shorts saved me from injury. They fit great under a flowy skating skirt or over spandex shorts and pants. I am so happy I chose to purchase these!

Excellent padded shorts!
I actually bought these for rollerblading, as I am learning and had injured my tailbone on a hard fall. These shorts offer excellent protection. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Well worth the purchase

Best butt pads!
Best butt pads out there, especially for the tailbone. My daughter wears hers to every practice for doubles and now starting triples. One pair lasts about a year and a half before the tailbone area that she’s sensitive to injury begins to breakdown. (Note: she does wear them in the van on the way to the rink (warms up at school and puts skates on during the van ride there) which probably contributes to the breakdown in the tailbone area.) A lot of the club skaters have these butt pads, too.

Protective and Comfortable for Difficult Long Trails.
My wife walked the trails in Patagonia with it, at least 8 miles each day. Very comfortable and protective. I highly recommend it

Not heavily padded
The sizing is spot on as it fits my teen daughter perfectly . She is 5'3, 125lbs and wears size medium. There is a good amount of stretch to these but they stay in place well. My concern as a mama is that she has already been injured prior to purchasing this so I want to do my best to shield her tail bone from more brute force however there is not a lot of padding especially in that area. The padding is firm but pretty minimal in my opinion for such a dangerous sport ( figure skating) I wish the padding was just a tad thicker. Overall I feel the cost is high for average quality. I'd expect this item to be about $25-30z

Great protection
They are padded well over hips and buttocks to make skating safer. I bought a size bigger to wear over my leggings.

Fall protection for seniors
I bought these for my elderly mother who is prone to falls. The padding is holding up well after a month of near daily use. This may not be the intended use, but it seems to work well. F

Worth it for anyone working on doubles
Great for figure skaters working on doubles. I was apprehensive to wear these at first as I am an adult skater and I was more worried about esthetics than safety. After a few hard falls (and my other pair not having as much padding as I would have liked), I bought these. They are worth the money. Most kids at my club who are working on anything above an axel wear them. What I like is the leg holes are big enough to stretch over my skates when I forget to put them on or when I switch from dance to freeskate.

Comfortable and painless
Works really well! I fell on the ice and felt no pain! Best purchase! It’s really worth the investment! It stretches quite well so fits to your shape! True fit and comfortable!

Not flattering but saved my a$$!!
Legitimately bailed multiple times on my roller skates and as someone who isn’t 20 anymore … let’s just say those falls could have been much worse without these pads! They fit me well, I am a size small for reference. They are super light weight and well… as you can see - they do nothing for your figure LOL but they do their job! Well made and decent bang for your buck! Would recommend!
