Some of the longest lasting tape I've used!
My knees are starting to fail due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Essentially, I have permanent meniscus tearing in both knees as well as "runner's knee" due to faulty cartilage. This includes fluid retention and severe chronic pain/numbness. Since I do not have Surgical options and was unable to have the nerves ablated, I found myself in need of a high quality, cost efficient taping option. I have braces but they are not able to support my kneecaps well enough to help... This is one of the more cost efficient options I could find. The large roll has lasted a lot longer than I expected! I've done multiple applications of this tape for my legs. I've also used it to assist with back pain, chest tension, and have even used it to help release tension headaches! While it doesn't have as much ability to adjust after it is placed in the same way KT brand options do, I generally like this more overall. It holds up for several days, and I usually have to remove/replace after about 4 days, but mostly because of elasticity wearing out rather than adhesive failure. I've worn it into infrared saunas, during compression therapy, through cryotherapy applications, I've showered with it and scrubbed over the tape with an exfoliating brush, and I've worn it into a pool. I was honestly impressed with the pool resistance especially at the last time I wore it in, because I had been wearing that tape set for probably 3 days and it held out through the entire ai chi session I did, and was still stuck to me when I showered afterwards. More often than not, I have to make a concentrated effort to release the adhesive on this tape no matter what I have worn it through, which is not something I can say about other brands. I very much appreciate being able to customize the length of tape that I need instead of having to do pre-cut pieces. I've done custom shapes and combinations of length to achieve the support that I need to help promote fluid movement while keeping my kneecaps in a better placement. I can definitely tell a difference when I use this tape as compared to generic brands and the like. My physical therapy provider has also asked for the name of the brand after seeing how successful it has been in providing the support that I need. The reality of it is, kinesiology tape is on the surface all going to do the same stuff, but the combination of the long lasting quality of this product alongside the length of the roll makes this a done deal for me. I plan to get as many colors as I can and I'm happy to feature them in my social media postings.

Strong Tension, strong adhesion, stays for days when others DON'T!
This huge roll is definitely value for the money. I don't typically write a whole lot of reviews, but this one REALLY deserves the review I am about to give it. Yes, you have to cut it to length, and it does help to round the corners.... But best of all this stuff STICKS when others don't. I live in a very hot/humid environment, and find that other kinesiology tapes stay put for a day, maybe, then start to lift along the edges... But the Hampton Adams is THE BEST that I have tried, and I have even tried the so called "premium" brands. I also have sensitive skin, and yes, it will take your skin off if you don't remove the tape properly. Don't peel it off dry! First, use something like Jojoba oil to soak all the tape that is stuck to your skin THOROUGHLY, before you ever get it wet and let it sit for several minutes. Start peeling it off, SLOWLY, and use another finger to hold down the skin unless letting the tape stretch the skin as you pull it off. Work very carefully and very slow, but I can say, the adhesive, although extremely strong, is very gentle on sensitive skin!!! Some Kinesiology tapes I have used have made me itch like mad as soon as I put it on. This one, stuck like chuck, does not make me itch, but like I said, you have to be careful removing it. Don't just pull it off. Make sure you don't put anything in your skin where the tape will be applied. No lotion, no oil. That means, after you get this tape off by using oil to get the old tape off, make sure you wash thoroughly to remove all the oil, before you get out of the shower/tub! Just know this tape can be counted on to work like it should, and is extremely strong and supportive to even seriously injured muscles, tendons & ligaments. The best that I have found!

Works great! Stretchy and sticky, not too irritating. Great for dogs too!
I have super sensitive skin and react to most adhesives, so no shocker I did react to this tape but it was much less than others I've tried use in the past. Actually got it for my service dog (now retired) as he tore his left cranial cruciate ligament after tearing the one right a year and a half ago. I got a brace for that and added more straps but is kept slipping and was a pain to use and was not working for the left. Got short strips of KT to try and it seemed to help but the edges got loose and he likes to run them off! With this I can cut one long peice to go around his right leg for stability, over his back and down around his left knee to offer better stability and support. This is sticky and stretchy enough that it conforms to the turns and curves easy and still sticks if you have to peel off and adjust a little. Also stays on for days before he eventually butt rubs and rolls around enough to get it loose (he has allergies and is itchy anyways). He's had some mild irritation on the inside of his legs but more from him licking it at first. He seems to have gotten used to it after having him taped up off and on for a few weeks. I'd recommend this for anyone with a dog that has a torn CCL or other joint issues. Definitely a better alternative than costly difficult braces and slings or very expensive surgery. (FYI he's also on pain meds, nsaids, and joint supplements that help too). My arthritic Dad uses it and it works great for him too. He's used it on his knee and wrist and it really helps. Definitely a great product and very reasonable in price for the giant roll! Nice colors too (although I wish they had green)

It exceeds my expectations
Last a week but that’s not the tapes fault that’s because we sweat and shed skin. Still holds well even as our bodies shed. Doesn’t irritate skin but can leave a little residue behind and should be removed slowly. Takes about 30-60 minutes to sort of set and bond but once it does you can stretch and flex. Even works for adding some shape to body areas if needed but works wonders on sore joints and limbs Get it don’t even think twice. This is your KT tape you’ve been looking for.

This is the Recovery Vaults Go to!
We've been using the Hampton Adams kinesiology tape in our office almost daily, and it's been a great value. We primarily use it on MMA and BJJ patients, so it needs to hold up through movement, training, and sweat. This tape has consistently stayed in place while still being comfortable to wear. The bulk roll is perfect for a busy practice because we can cut exactly the length we need without wasting pre-cut strips. It tears cleanly with scissors, applies easily, and the adhesive has been reliable without being difficult to remove. If you're a clinician, athletic trainer, or someone who tapes frequently, the 135-foot bulk roll is a cost-effective option that performs well. We'll definitely continue using it in our clinic.

Decent but caused some blistering
All in all this product worked pretty well. Not quite as stretchy as I had hoped but stretchy enough. Stick was good and held up through physical activity. Left some residue but not a ton. Would have given it a 4 overall but it lost a star from the way my skin reacted in one spot. My skin blistered underneath it in one area, ripping open when I carefully removed the tape in the shower. I now have a couple painful spots that will not be able to be re-taped until healed.

Absolutely LOVE it!!!! But Don’t Forget To Shave!
As someone with Hyper-mobile Ehlers Danlos (hEDS) I’m am no stranger to different attempts at joint support and healing. I have tried just about every cast, splint, brace, sling, compression, orthotic, tape, or sleeve known to man kind for the majority of my joints. Kinesiology Tape is my favorite because of the support, convenience, and flexibility. I’m fairly sure those familiar with joint injuries can relate. Because realistically anyone claiming that they love neoprene tubes squeezing their ankle and cutting off circulation if it swells, or slipping and/or rolling down their knee every two seconds; is lying. And wrapping yourself like a mummy in compression wraps is not only time consuming, and frustrating if you need to pee…but incredibly uncomfortable when something inevitably slips or rolls. That being said finding a good Kinesiology tape is sometimes a process; especially for someone such as myself. Because the gift of connective tissues akin to mashed jello, was not nearly enough. No, a good majority of us in the EDS community are also so lucky as to have severely sensitive, delicate, and reactive skin that DOES NOT appreciate adhesive of any sort. I have tried most brands available, so finding one that is supportive, has good stretch, and didn’t instantly cause me to break out in hives; was a major win! But it kept getting better! The picture above was on day 5 after applying it, and had only barely begun to peel at the ends after my 4th shower wearing it. In whole, it lasted 6 days, and that’s only because I chose to remove it during my shower due to the peeling ends. Now, it’s important to note that before buying this tape, I did read reviews. There was some mixed consensus on stickiness with some claiming it didn’t stick at all, and the majority saying that it outlasted bigger name brands. Given that the majority voted that it stuck well. I vaguely remember one of the reviews mentioning that you should shave the area first, but had quickly forgotten about it. I chalked up the naysayers to those who maybe hadn’t properly prepped the area prior to applying the tape. You see, that is ultimately where I messed up and where I issue my warning... Prepping the area…. Given that I’m a middle aged happily married woman, and it’s the middle of winter in CO; meaning that my leg hairs grow almost instantaneously after stepping out of the shower. I hadn’t given much thought to re-shaving my legs prior to putting down the tape. A - Because it’s not like I had woolly mammoth legs, and B - Most tapes I’ve used start peeling within a day or two, especially if you shower. But not this tape, noooo it held on strong! So strong in fact, that after easily removing the tape from my foot. When I began to pull it from my leg, I was a little shocked at the stinging sensation, I mean.. it was thoroughly soaked, and had been on for 6 days…. It shouldn’t sting. So I readjusted my grip and tried again… nope still stung. Finally I pulled up my big girl panties and ripped that sucker off… only to find that this tape had one more secret boasting point! It will, absolutely wax your legs (or wherever else) if you don’t shave that area first! I can absolutely say with no doubt that I will be buying this tape again, and recommending it to anyone that listens. Aside from the unexpected waxing, I had zero skin issues, not even an itch. Which is unheard of for me personally. Additionally, it had great stretch but still provides good support. Something I value since my joints like to swell like grapefruit. Add in the longevity of the application, ability to cut what you need, and ease of applying it. This is a no brainer, BUY THE TAPE!!!! - Just… maybe shave the area first before applying, unless you’re going for a two for one type of thing :P

Just right!
The adhesive holds even when wet . It has a reasonable amount of stretch and is very strong! It is lightweight, easy to cut to size and also to separate from the backing. It is nearly invisible under clothing and comfortable enough to use for a long walk or exercise. The color could be a little darker but is okay!

Poor quality
Very poor quality, the adhesive patterns on the tape is wrong way around so the tape can't be stretched (looks like it was cut incorrectly in manufacture). Very disappointed with this product.

Good sport tape
Clinically useful and much affordable price. However, 10-20% of my patients have skin allergy with it, not serious but need to monitor. No problem, is acceptable.
