UNIT AUTOMATICALLY SELECTS BATTERY TYPE ( wrong type ) AND WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO MANUALLY CHANGE TYPE
I put in a lithium battery and the charger will detect it as a NiCad battery and will not not respond to manual over ride/change to proper type. I can put in a NiCad battery and the unit sees it as a lithium battery and again no response when attempting to manually change the type to NiCad. bottom line.... THE AUTO TYPE SELECT/SENSE CAN BE FAULTY WITH NO ABILITY TO OVER RIDE>>>
