These containers can’t be beat. I’m in love with all of the sizes. They are dishwasher safe, don’t stain, and they seal beautifully- I can keep fresh strawberries (even the ones bought at Giant that typically spoil in three days) for over a week in these gems. Liquids don’t leak out, and having clear containers also makes it easy for my family to find leftovers to eat, so they don’t go to waste as often either. They aren’t cheap, but absolutely worth the money. The only complaint I have is that periodically I’ll find one a little tough to open, but I’m not sure if that’s just one in my bunch. Even so, I’m absolutely sold on these in every size.

Rubbermaid has a good product reputation, and these Brilliance storage containers are no exception. First, even though Rubbermaid states that these containers are dishwasher safe, I never put my plastic items in the dishwasher. What does "dishwasher safe" mean or imply? I personally believe the water temperature in a dishwasher is far too high and will alter the product integrity (e.g., the excessively high water temperatures can, over time, cause the plastic to become brittle, and make it subject to cracking - or - cause the container to warp, or change the integrity of the rubber-like gasket thus changing the the ability these containers to seal as tightly as it should.) Thus, I feel my time is well spent hand-washing these containers. I have not experienced any cracking, warping, or problems sealing these containers. Given that this product actually performed better than expected, my son wanted me to find a similar, yet larger container to store leftover chili. He wanted round containers to hold approximately 8 to 9 cups of liquid. Bingo, Rubbermaid Brilliance has those also. Oh, BTW, I also do not put any pots, pans, or roasters in the dishwasher! My father, a chef, told me to wash them only in a dishwasher if I wanted to shorten the lifespan of my very expensive cookware. I look at handwashing my Rubbermaid Brilliance storage containers with the same thought in mind. A little Dawn liquid dish soap, and these containers function as if they were new. These are excellent food storage containers. And because they are made of clear plastic and come in a variety of sizes, they can be used in the pantry to store baking goods (such as flour and sugar) and dry foods (like rice, cereal, and beans). In fact, I can think of hundreds of uses for these containers, such as sewing and crafts. I also bet men could use them on their workbench (for nuts, bolts, screws, etc.).

Excellent storage containers! They easily seal out the air and secure tightly, keeping the food fresh and the container leakproof. The containers are easy to close and open, and the lids fit well. They are well constructed and handle all sizes of food leftovers and preparations. I haven't tried them in the microwave yet. I love them so much, I bought additional sizes.

I have used all the various brands of storage containers and these are by far my favorite. They create a seal, and nothing is leaking out into my lunch box. Easy to clean and doesn't stain. I also love how they store nicely in my cabinet. I love these and will be buying more.

These Rubbermaid food prep containers are excellent. I generally prefer glass over plastic, and I initially thought I was purchasing glass rather than plastic. That said, I have been more than satisfied with these and am actually glad they are plastic. With glass containers, you have to be more careful to avoid chipping, especially when stacking them. Some of my glass meal prep containers have chipped around the rims over time just from stacking and handling. With these Rubbermaid containers, that is not a concern, and they feel much more forgiving for daily use. One feature I really appreciate is the vented lid design. You can simply flip open the latch and microwave the container without worrying about pressure buildup or splatter. It is much more convenient than placing a paper towel over the top and hoping it stays in place while heating. For meal prep portions, these containers are a great size. My meals usually do not even fill the entire container, yet they hold a substantial amount of food. For most people doing regular meal prep, these are more than adequate. If you are prepping something like a very large salad, you may need multiple containers, but for standard meals they work perfectly. Overall, they are durable, practical, and easy to use. I do wish this exact design were available in glass, but even so, I highly recommend these containers.

Very sturdy, seal well, look just like the pictures. I do a weekly meal prep, so these needed to be quality and did not disappoint. Wash well and don't retain odors (I even packed a spicy curry to test this). Packed soup to test for leaks, not a single drop lost. They can be a little stubborn to open, but that's fine by me if it means no leaks! Great quality, very pleased.

Great containers for microwave. I have used them a lot and they don’t stain from sauces. The size is great for leftovers. The containers are a good price and the quality is very nice. I like the different sizes that are available. I have one I use to keep pancake mix in. The thickness of the plastic and the ease of opening and closing the container is perfect.

I was looking for food storage to replace old opaque plastic containers and found these clear, snap top ones by Rubbermaid. They are a perfect set and the seal is air tight. Cut apples look fresh even a day after being cut. I hand wash and dry to keep them spotless, although they are dishwasher safe. The snap tops are easy to open and close for my small, arthritic hands. I haven't put them in the microwave yet as I use them for fresh, frozen and dry food storage.
