It’s not a bad part for an at home fix everything was pretty easy I recommend a yt tutorial for some help! Advice i recommend using some other strong glue since the one that comes on the part doesn’t feel strong enough! Be careful when using pick it can damage the battery when needed to be separated!

I watched a Youtube video and installed the new screen on my daughters ipad in less than two hours. The hardest part was getting all the adhesive off because I was using a hairdryer but other than that it was a fairly smooth process. Also the screen works great, the tools that came with the product were very helpful, and the Youtube video was beneficial.

1) it asked to score adhesive but no adhesive was included. 2) after I bought it, all of the instructional videos said don’t buy one with a home button because the identification (fingerprint) won’t work - and it doesn’t but not a big deal for me. 3) it does not include instructions and says they are easy to find on the web which they are but finding a good one is hard. 4) having tools that don’t align with the random instructions makes it hard. 5). It is installed and seems to work adequately.

Easy to install, but glue strips did not hold and had to purchase t-8000 epoxy, but product works great.

I don’t know if you are good at breaking glass screens on portable items, but I have mastered the art! I’ll break any glass anything that goes into my pocket. Even unbreakable glass will get broken in my presence. So comes to replacing a digitizer or screen on an iPad, let’s just say I lost count after number six. So you can imagine how many digitizers I’ve gone through already. There are a few sellers out there that have bogus digitizers. Let’s be honest, more than a few! But this seller or just digitizer from Amazon is top notch. Never had a problem, I highly recommend this seller and this digitizer! In fact, I’m about to order another one now.

First one I originally got had dead spots got another one and it was working fine until the home button stopped working out of nowhere unfortunately this happened just a day after my return window closed now I’m stuck with a non functional home button

The installation was fine. The whole process took me 2hours. When glass was in and I turned on iPad all looked good until I started testing. One outer edge of the screen do not react to my touch. I tried all sorts of tests. In middle of night ipad falls off bed to carpet and screen breaks

Funktioniert so wie es soll. Das Display ist voll funktionsfähig, ohne irgendwelcher Fläche, Winkel der nicht auf Touch reagiert. 👍

綺麗になりました。起動も問題ないけど、交換後から再起動が連続しだした。起動後大凡3分位は大丈夫ですがそのシャットダウンします。そして再起動、パスコード入力しなければそのまま待機状態の模様。ですがパスコード入力YouTubeみていると必ず3分以内に落ちます。最初はマザーボードあたりが発熱していたが、ダメ元でpcからiTunesを使いリセットするが、(名)リセットで良かったか?復元モードに入り完全に初期化になる。マザーボードの加熱は無くなるが同じ様に再起動繰り返す。今回、私の作業ミスなのか、私のiPadの故障なのか、こちらの商品に問題ありなのかは解りませんが、ゴミになってしまった。高くてもアップルに頼むべきか町のアップル専門店に頼むべきだった。

The media could not be loaded.  So it’s of course not as good as the original screen which is to be expected but it does the job well. This may be user error but I have two dead spots but it’s not much of an issue. There are no instructions so you’ll have to find a YouTube video to figure it out. All in all it works, it looks good, and it was only like 40 dollars CAD. Worth it.

The screen I replaced works perfectly with the iPad . With all the tools I was able to replace the screen myself without taking it to any engineer . Highly recommended
