We had to put our 16 year old Dachshund down. This POD is a great way to bury your furbaby. Nice construction and very sturdy. Seeds are a nice touch but really don't add much value. Only negative is the price. I guess compared to some of the dog casket the price is reasonable but I feel this size should be in the $50 range. All in all it's great and will fit a larger dog than our dachshund.

Bought this for my Mini Moo (our cat we've had for 17 years). We bought it a bit early, but ultimately she passed and we buried her in it. She was a small cat and this was a Medium pod so if you have a cat that is over 7lbs (she was a little over 5 when she passed) I would recommend the larger one. It is a hard material, not made of cardboard/chipboard paper (like I thought it would be since it is biodegradable) which was nice...not cheap looking or feeling. Beautiful designs on top. I would recommend this product for your fur baby when the time arises. It also came with a paper seed leaf to plant in memory of your pet...that was a nice touch!

Perfect size for our dwarf hamster. Would have given 5 stars but the item was missing the seeded leaf.

I liked the idea of ‘biodegradable over time’. The design is suitable for its purpose. I thought it came with sealant but that may be other brands I read. Some reviewers say clips are included and seeing a one inch damage/chip on the side edge of lid it appears a buyer may have had a clip size problem. This was a new purchase😐 There were no fragments in the packaging so it was shipped damaged. Unfortunate because I think this is a very good product/idea & I’m sure this is costing sales while the problem continues. I’m going to research the most environmentally friendly glue for sealing to minimize odor seeping & secure the lid because there is no click or snugness adequate to hold it secure during handling/burial. I hope I have enough time to do this seeing that my Kitty is still in his ‘hospice’ stage. Some reviewers are opting for Duck tape.

We got this for our pet fish that passed away. We had him for 9 years and my children didn’t want to flush him or bury him just anywhere. So we purchased this to bury him into a nice planter for the summer. It’s sturdy and was a good size for our smaller fish. We purchased the micro size.

I ordered this "coffin" for my dear wonderful cat of 17 years. I knew he was dying and I wanted a safe protected coffin for him. The "pod" was delivered the day he died. I was overcome with grief as I put him in the pod. I tried to close the pod with the plastic clamps which came with the pod and for a half hour I struggled with trying to close it with these clamps before I realized they were the wrong size. Whoever had packaged this product put in clamps for a smaller pod. I could not use them at all and had to go searching for duct tape to close the pod. All the time in tears. Any company that has employees who care so little that they would do such a thing is unforgivable due to the circumstances of this product.

This was just what we needed. Our fuzzy friend (a cat) passed from sight at the very end of winter, before the ground had thawed. This product provided a dignified place to keep her until we were able to be digging outside, as well as serving its final purpose. I love that seeds were included; we've decided not to use the included seed item, but to plant our own. A loving and lovely idea.

Arrived with a triangular chip out of the top. Even though it is marketed as biodegradable, the package information explains that it takes several years to biodegrade. I was looking for something with a shorter biodegrade window. I'm glad they have these and market them, as there are not enough options for pet burial containers, but if your goal is a "Natural" burial this is probably not for you. I did return the item and the return was easy peasy. It's a good idea but maybe the company can look into making wicker ones or something more readily biodegradable. I ended up going with a strong coffin box the vet had, they use these to send the pets to cremation but they are very sturdy. And very biodegradable, they won't keep much out for long.

Good buy. I just couldn’t get the clamps on. Fast shipping. Well packaged.

Sent it back. Too large. Looked like a litter box. Way too expensive.
