True X-ring chain, good quality!
I've used quite a few niche brand chains in the past, and they have always held up to the task. This chain is being used on a 100 hp project, so the quality and strength of this chain will certainly be tested!! I think this is the best bang for your buck when it comes to x-ring chain. I would be cautious if I was using this on my 1000cc sportbike, but for quads and atv's this is the go-to chain! Always have a case guard in case, though.

Decent chain, good value.
Purchased an XR400r in July 2025 and purchased this chain as a general maintenance upgrade. Seems to work well but like any type of O or X ring chain it requires regular lubrication. I can't really comment on the presumed reduction of drag using an X chain but I will say that just rolling the bike in and out of the garage it feels like there is hardly any friction. Would buy again.

Budget Option, But it Works.
Budget option if you need it, YMMY. Lasted me maybe 8k, lubing chain every 300 miles. When I retired it, had a couple links freezing up, and it was missing several o-rings. When I swapped my front sprocket, I cleaned the grease build-up and found a few o-rings left behind from this chain. I still give 4 stars because I ride year-round through storms and sunshine at highway speeds (65mph +) during my commute, so I'm a bit rough on chains.

Looks Good, Feels Good
The original chain on my '19 Versys 300 lasted for almost 20k miles with regular lube and cleaning. This Niche chain is smooth and quiet. I couldn't be happier. Another benefit is the great look of the bronze color. I feel good every time I see it. Perhaps others notice too.

Almost cost me my life. DO NOT BUY
While it was as easy to install as any other chain and initially worked great, the quality of the chain is undoubtedly terrible. I've had the chain installed for just over a week, and it blew up on my motor cycle while riding it on the highway. It was professionally installed, although I was warned about not using OEM brands, and it worked fine at first. The chain was tensioned and lubricated properly, and the sprockets were inspected before installation. It did fit my bike perfectly, and the links all seemed to be connected properly and moved freely before and after installation. I didn't use the chain enough to tell if the x-rings held the lubricant well. While cruising down the highway at about 70 MPH, I went to pass someone, downshifted, and accelerated. The chain made a chattering noise I hadn't heard before and, less than a second later, made a loud plinking sound shortly followed by a grinding sound and a sudden loss of power. The grinding noise stopped and the chain shot out from the bike and off the side of the road. Upon stopping safely and retrieving the chain about 100 yards back down the road, I saw that one side of an inner link had a part of the roller-seat sheared off and the same side of the link was bent outwards. I found the missing link still inside the plastic front sprocket cover, where it had shattered the plastic and chipped a sizeable piece out of a screw mount holding said-cover down. The link itself only had one roller and one side left. The remaining side was badly bent outwards. I couldn't find anything else, and I'm assuming the rest of the link shot out of the hole created in te plastic cover. Luckily, the chain simply shot backwards off my bike and didn't get wrapped around the front or rear sprocket. If either of those were the case, I very well might have been tossed off the bike while doing 70+ with traffic in both directions. If it wasn't for the professional installation, regular visual inspection, and 500 miles of symptom-free riding, I'd think something else caused this. But the chain, simply put, was not well made and failed without warning. It's not worth the $40 savings over the $87 EK chain. Save yourself the hassle, and potentially life-threatening danger, and just buy an OEM brand chain.

Great chain
Chain fits and works awesome on my 05 crf 150f. Nice and heavy duty, had a tiny bit of stretch which is expected with an o ring chain, but nothing out of the ordinary
