ATS Acoustics Sound Absorbing Acoustic Panel with Sona Fabric, NRC 1.0, Fire Rated, 24" x 48" x 2" (Platinum)

I just got my ATS acoustic panel today and I'm super happy with it. There is a bunch no name out there, but skip that stuff and get this. ATS is a legitimate sound treatment company. The panel arrived perfectly packaged in a sturdy box and sealed in plastic bag. The panel is super simple, but the materials are quality and it's assembled in USA (It's even signed and dated by the tech that put it together). It looks extremely good, and cuts my room reflections down a bunch. If you want a simple, affordable, quality made, acoustic panel... this is the one to get. It came with industry standard mounting hardware as well. A bunch of colors and sizes available. I'll definitely be back for more. Thanks!

Using 4 of these on a wall, and the VIZIO - Elevate SE 5.1.2 sound system in front of them, these panels really absorb sound well. It's not perfect, as a subwoofer will still transfer sound through the floor it's placed on, but other than bass, it nullifies almost everything, at a moderately loud sound at that. Pros: Each panel comes with a certificate of manufacture date, and other information. The giant paper outline that came with is a life saver for installation. They work very well when placed on the floor with no mounting, but not as good as when mounted. Plenty of extra mounting hardware, just in case! Cons: Hair and dust seems to be attracted to the fabric of these panels. Completely DIY installation. I think it's a pro, but some may think poorly of physical labor.

This is the 4th panel I've bought from ATS and I continue to be impressed with the performance, quality and crazy-great value of the ATS products. I ordered on Monday, they shipped same day and the panel arrived at my home in the California Desert noon today. Thanks, ATS. I'll be back for number five.

This was easy to install, I just wish the template was rigid cardboard as opposed to paper and / or measurements were supplied to drill holes. That being said - Panel looks great and provides a very professional look. The fabric and build quality is excellent, it is also AWESOME that these are made in the USA. Panels do an excellent job of eliminating reflective sound from a back wall.

I was skeptical, but needed to try something. I recently started to upgrade my bedroom stereo system. I have a 10' x 12' room. I just bought some Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G's the replace my Sony SS-CS5 speakers(which also had problems in this room). My music that I've listened to for 40+ years sounded awful. The high end sounded like it was duplicated and smeared. I couldn't understand the lyrics that I've known for so long. I was about to give up and I laid down with my head at the foot of the bed and everything sounded better. So I figured out my room was the problem(I kind of already knew). I bought two panels not expecting much. I couldn't believe how good the music sounded after installing at the first reflection points. Everything is clear and dynamic, vocals, cymbals, etc. Everything was in it's place in the soundstage and well defined once again. I enjoyed it so much I listened to music for another 3 hours. These defiantly work, I might try the bass traps next.

I haven't checked actual decibel levels yet but these panels seem well made and do the job as advertised.

Used the template to mark the walls. Easy to install. My room is no longer an echo chamber.
