Why does an 8 oz can appear as large as a litre bottle on the hiker's hip in your product photo?

It is a large can, larger than a purse sized can of mace. It's not uncomfortable to wear but don't think you will be able to conceal it without an outer garment like a jacket.

The package for the two pack looks like it contains two cans with one holster only. Are the holsters nested? Does it actually come with two holsters?

What is the difference between safety orange bear spray with griz guard holster 2 pack and black with griz guard holster 2 pack?

Its the same product. Sometimes when different sellers list the same product for sale, Amazons catalog page ends up with some redundant items. I personally would get the bear spray with the colored holster to match the rest of my gear.
