This heated cat bed is just perfect for my Michigan cat! It only warms when the cat lays in it, so that does not waste energy. It is well made and easily cleaned in the washer and dryer. My cat highly recommends it! 🐈‍⬛

I love K&H heated beds/cat heating pads! We have two of the low sided beds that our cats hardly get out of when it's cold. When the brand had a sale, I knew I needed to take advantage of it! I bought one of the heating pads on its own and am making fleece/foam covers that can be removed and washed easily for our foster room. I also bought this bed as a gift for my parents' cats. I took it over to them today, and they almost immediately sent back a picture of one of their kitties already claiming it as her own. Pros (of all K&H heated beds): -Safe (UL certified) heating pad that is custom made for cats, gives me a lot of peace of mind that my kitties have something designed to keep them comfy but not overheated, and won't run up our electric bill or be a fire hazard. -Cats LOVE it. My 17 1/2 year old senior baby with arthritis loves to curl up in the smaller bed, and our two boys (one 12lb 10 year old and one 4 month old kitten) tend to fight over the other one. This third design is obviously also an immediate hit. -Variety of sizes and designs means most cats will find something they like. This particular bed I think may be the best size. We have two other K&H heated beds- this one is bigger than the small round short sided one (which fits our 6 lb cat fine), and maybe a little smaller in diameter than the length of the large short sided oval one (which is perfect for our larger 12lb cat, or for our kitten to completely stretch out in). Cat pictured in this bed is ~11lbs and still has plenty of space. -Lifesaver for young kittens. We had a foster litter with us, 6 3 week old kittens and their mom, during a cold snap. They were indoors, but since they were isolated and the room tended to get cold at night, I worried about them staying warm. Keeping the heating pad in the nest with them I think really helped them stay warm, especially if mom went to eat or go to the litter pan. (we made sure they were able to crawl out of the nest to another, non-heated towel if they got too warm) -Fully washable bed, so you remove the heating pad and throw the bed in the wash if needed. I honestly can't think of any cons. The beds are not that much more expensive than one without the heating pad that you would get at a pet store, and cheaper than a lot of the boutique-style beds you can find. For all the advantages these beds bring, and the fact that they had immediate approval of our cats, they are 100% worth the price and then some. I absolutely recommend them!

She loves it 😊🐱… this bed is so great esp for elderly cats who love the heat. Took her a bit to warm up to it but now she’s stays in it all day. Love that it doesn’t get to hot and stops when she gets out. She did not like the bed that was shaped like a cave, I had to return that one. Would definitely repurchase. Get it don’t hesitate 💖

We purchased this bed at the recommendation of a friend for our kitty who was diagnosed with cancer. Anything to make her more comfy. Well she immediately took to it and she’s been in it almost non-stop. Our chihuahua mix has also found it and there’s a timeshare situation happening. Only downside is that the cat chooses to lay in the bed rather than snuggle with us! She loves th high sides which are nice and sturdy and the heated cushion is thick and cozy.

Bought as a gift. The cat loves it and spends a lot of quality time in the bed. Only gets warm while the cat is inside it. Would purchase again.

I bought one of these beds a couple of weeks ago, of the smaller size, and it was as pictured. I then ordered the larger size for another cat (other than the one pictured in the bed) because the smaller size was too small for him. Both beds have a thick, soft cushion, and the heater functions as advertised, as I have been purchasing beds of a different model from this same company for more than a dozen years now, and still have a perfectly functional 13-year-old cat bed, although it's gotten to be a bit threadbare in places. Anyhow, these beds work very well, cats love them, are easily cleanable, and they last a long time. However, the large size bed is not as pictured. Rather than being round, it is rectangular. It just came today, and I haven't been able to get the larger cat to try it out yet but, as you can see, the smaller one has. Cats prefer round beds, in my experience, because they like to curl up and they find comfort in being encircled by the sides of the bed. The rectangular shape might be better for a dog than for a cat. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known it was going to be rectangular but as long as I have it, I'll keep it. I'm sure the cats will make use of it, so it's not a deal-breaker. I'm sure they'll come to like it well enough. K&H heated cat beds are well-made, and I have no doubt that this bed will last a long time. Just know that if you order the large size, it will be rectangular rather than circular, while the small size is as pictured. Five months later... After washing it for the first time, I found that it took a round shape. Apparently, it formed into the rectangular shape of the box that it came in and retained that shape until it was washed. It is now round, which is what I wanted it to be. I am raising my rating to five stars. Oh, by the way, it washes easily, too. Just remove the heating pad first. There is a zipper for that.

My cat loves this bed and it doesn’t get too warm so you don’t have to worry about it getting too hot and burning the kitty.

Expensive, but the kitties love them. Very thick, soft padding. Finally bought a large size after seeing 3 cats trying to fit into the small one we purchased last year.

All of my cats love this bed. Immediately, one by one, kneeding the bed and curling up together. Very pleased as my cats are devon rex and need somewhere warm to sleep. The temperature stays at a very safe zone. Never too warm

Why is this still for sale? You said you’d take it off after mine burnt holes in my carpet and would have caused a fire if I hadn’t been in the room to smell the smoke and unplug it immediately. The attached video shows the hole underneath and smoke coming from it after the initial bang. The photo shows that it is this bed (sold by this company) and a few spots of the burnt carpet underneath.

I own 2 of these beds and my cats love them so much. The first one was bought 2 years ago for my rescued female cat who like small bed and to sleep on heated surface (like my laptop, etc). I bought it based on recommendation from a youtube video comparing this bed to other one... From the moment she discovered it, she was completely in love with the bed, sleeping in it every day, it became her favourite nap spot until 6 months ago when my older male cat, who never had any interested in the heated bed discovered it and started to sleep all the time in it leaving my female with no heated bed to sleep in anymore... So I bought a 2nd one... Now that I have a 3rd rescue cat, he recently discovered the heated bed as well and I fear that I might need to get another one for him I'm sure my cat would be eternally grateful if K&H was sending him a free heated bed as well to enjoy ;) These pet bed are 100% worth the price. They are heating just enough for the cat to be comfortable with no risk of heat burn to the cat. They take a few hours to really reach the temperature when first plugged in, but you don't have to unplugged them ever after (both have been plugged for months/years without issues). I also like that the company sale replacement heating pad on amazon if one stop working, you don't have to buy a complete new bed. (I did not need to replace them yet but I'm happy to know that it will be possible if it ever happen). My cats also seems to enjoy the high wall and how big the large model are... They can roll on their back in the bed with no of rolling out of the it. Each bed could easil acommodate 2 cats who love to cuddles together (unlike mine). I am also extremely impress by the quality of the beds, after 2 years of constant use, fabrics is not showing any damage at all and surprisingly still look like it's new... The pillow at the bottom of the bed did flatten quite a bit after some time, but you just need to wash the bed in the washing machine and put it in the dryer at low heat to fluff it up back and it's like brand new. It's extremely easy to wash, just need to unzip the bottom, remove the long side foam and the heat pad and throw the bed in the washing machine. I do recommend this bed to every cat owner!
