Provides a great finish, used on chopping board and looks great even after 6+ months. Dries is around 24 hours. Easy to use, just make sure you read the label/ online guidance for splitting ratios. Slightly expensive, but great stuff!

Very lovely finish - the Natural colour is very subtle, but the protection has been great. I used it for a large white oak step that gets heavy, daily use and even 3 months on it looks brand new. Ive had the same results on picture frames and furniture. Very impressed - this’ll be my go-to finish for most projects moving forward, but might explore the range of colours to add variety and achieve a deeper look if needed. I’ve only applied to oak so far, so can’t comment on other woods.

Fantastic finish even in inexpert hands. Problem is it's so blooming expensive - hence the deduction of 1 star. I have used it mostly on Oak Veneered sheets. Personally I think the 'monocoat' claim is a little optimistic, I have found 2 coats is best.

Can't fault the product but ridiculously expensive for what it is (essentially linseed oil and a hardener) - hence my three stars. If the price came down by 30% I'd have given more stars. I have subsequently switched to using Nordicare hardwax and I am not disappointed by this decision.

If you are a Blacktail Studio follower, you know what you are buying. This stuff produces extremely hard-wearing protection layers on hardwoods. My home's stairs - after three years of hard, daily use - still look beautiful. The trick of the trade is to use TINY amount of it and work it well using a soft sponge pad (open or closed pores) on RO. Meticulous prep (sanding, water pop, blowing the dust, etc) is a key to achieve fantastic results.

Für einen Messerblock bestellt. Mit der kleinen Flasche kommt man doch ziemlich weit und lässt sich gut verarbeiten Nach ein paar Tagen dann auch alles super abgetrocknet.

While the stain is a little pricey, it provides a simple application prices which saves on labor. No sanding in between. Just one step for a beautiful flat sheen.

Denn es ist so einfach die Platte ein zu ölen , warten zu lassen, mit einem Baumwolllappen nach einer Zeit der Sättigung ges Öles , das überschüssige Öl wieder mit dem Tuch aufzunehmen undf alles für einen ganzen Tag einziehen zu lassen und zum Schluss nochmals drüber mit einem weichen Tuch und man hat die perfekte Küchenarbeitsplatte, die 80Grad locker abhalten kann. I used this to refinish the top of a vintage cedar chest I rescued from the curb. I was hoping to avoid a 70s ski-lodge aesthetic, and the creamy pigment in the oil helps you get a nice finish that looks similar to the raw wood in color and tones down the red/orange cast. I waxed it with paste wax after the oil finish cured. There are no fumes, but it does smell a little funky like oils for a few weeks, but it goes away. Very happy with the product, I would use it again on projects that don't need a final poly coat.
