excellent replacement , been using Remington electric shavers for 30 years

I just installed these new blades and screen this morning and what a difference it makes! I pushed the original blades to almost a year and a half, shaving every day. Slowly but surely the shave became uncomfortable and then, finally, the screen wore through and that was it; could not use anymore. I had this new set on hand, installed it, and it's like having a brand new shaver. Mind you, with the cost, one could get a complete new razor for about twice the amount, which would not be bad. But getting another year's worth of shaves, plus, is worth the cost. After all, the body and motor of the shaver are still just fine. It was a long wait from this seller in Great Britain, but the quality and price were the best I could find. Fit and finish are great and installation took me only about five minutes, including a deep cleaning.

Wrote the following review upon shortly after receipt. After some 12 days of use a pin holding the center bar between the foils above the cutter blades broke, allowing the bar to protrude above the foils. Using an old shaver since and may attempt to return the defective head. George Packaged as genuine Remington and has performance to match. I have used this model Remington shaver for over 15 years without a hitch. Tried some no-name replacement heads one time (could not locate genuine Remington) and they were awful. Unlike Remington, would not shave closely and pulled on the whiskers.

Maybe. Maybe not. The actual razor, charger and accessory cost $46.00+/-. According to everything I've read, some people that shave every day have to change out the blades every six months. Now I know the razor itself will last far beyond that, probably ten years or more. But that would mean spending over $400 just on blades! (Based on my recent purchase of the blades that cost $26.) But I like the razor. So it looks like I'll try and stretch out the blades to changing them only once a year, or longer if I can get away with it. The good news, Amazon has the best price. When I checked the Remington website, purchasing blades there would cost you a whopping $40+ dollars!

Excellent replacement cutter head with blades and pivot foil. A definite must buy if you need this style of replacement for your Remington.
