Two cards, two phones, one conclusion.
I purchased this memory card thinking "PNY is a fairly reputable company that makes other electronic equipment that I've used before." While the company is known for manufacturing computer memory, not necessarily device storage, it is possible that they subcontracted another company that does, but the product was good enough for PNY to put their brand name on it.Indeed, the product is good enough. I first used this card in my Motorola Backflip. The card performed flawlessly, despite the fact that the phone was absolute junk. When I purchased a new phone, I decided to go with the same memory card. My HTC Inspire 4G is spectacular, compared to the Motorola Backflip, but the card is on probation. While on a business trip, my phone seem to be having problems. It worked fine with the 8 GB card it came with, but would go into "Read Only" mode when the PNY card was installed. It was working just fine, then suddenly, while trying to access some pictures, the error message occurred.I placed the card into its adapter (a very handly item), and placed it into my notebook PC's card reader. I noticed the "lost" folder had grown from a few MB to over 14 GB of data. Apparently, more than a few files (mostly movies and videos) had gotten corrupted, and were no longer usable. Fortunately, my other files were still intact, and performing a "check disk" on the card remedied the "read only" issue. The card is fast enough, and so far, no further corruption has come up. I don't know for certain, but perhaps, the problem originated from an improper dismounting of the card, as I disconnected my phone from my computer. For 32GB of storage and an adapter, it can seem a bit pricey. Keep in mind that it is a class 10 rated device, and it does come from a fairly well known shelf brand. Of all the other brands, this one is probably the most competitively priced and so far, performs well. In conclusion, for the storage capacity, performance, and features, it is still the best bang for the buck.

Great for Pocket HD Camcorder / Basic Class 10 (PNY 16GB)
The media could not be loaded. This *IS* a review of the *PNY 16GB* (ignore the picture randomly selected by Amazon). This worked great for my Philips CAM150RD Pocket HD Camcorder . Not all SD cards are created equal. You must be sure to match both (1) the minimum class required and (2) minimum MB/s required for your particular use. As a basic class 10 card, that does not boast more than the minimum that it takes to meet the class 10 specification, this works great. But based on other reviews, it sounds like you should not expect more. But as long as it meets the requirement for your purpose, it should be great.Check your manual for guidance, such as information on HD video write speed at various quality settings and buy a card to match. For my Sony HDR-CX160 HD Camcorder , it states that it requires a class 10 card, but also states the write rate for various HD video quality settings that top out around 24 MB/s, for which this card will not do unless I use lower quality settings. But my Philips CAM150RD Pocket HD Camcorder states no specific requirement on either class or MB/s rate. So I assume on the pocket camcorder it doesn't matter enough for it to make a statement. I believe it is a very good idea to assume class 10 minimum for any HD video. My pocket camcorder records in more compressed files, so I figured a base class 10 was fine. I think you have to at least go with a major brand, such as Pny. To this end, it worked great. But it sounds like you shouldn't expect more.I purchased the 16 GB with normal packaging directly from Amazon. It arrived extremely quickly in perfect condition, and was the genuine card. The adapter is nice, but you really don't need it unless you want to actually use it in a standard card reader, such as if you are transferring files between a device that takes micro SD and another that takes standard SD. Or perhaps you want to simply download faster by a USB 3.0 card reader and your device only supports a USB 2.0 cable directly. I prefer to just leave the card in and use the USB 2.0 cable to download video from my device.

Almost class 10. Amazing value especially when on discount!
This micro sd card is an amazing value. Lots of storage space, decent speed at an incredible price. A quick 4gb test from the H2testw showed the following:Writing speed: 9.09 MByte/sReading speed: 17.6 MByte/sWhen used with my ContourHD camera, 720p60 clips seem to stutter when playing right out of the camera. Videos are ok when extracted to the hard disk, but I have yet to fill upthe card with videos so more usage is needed to conclude on the card's long term stability. The main reasons I bought this was because of the high speed, high storage at a relatively low price. Of course, I was hoping that it can deliver, but the current results are pretty decent. Also, this might be a limitation of either my card reader or USB port, so I'll give the card the benefit of the doubt. It was also on discount at $59.99, which makes it an even better buy.I would be hesitant to believe in the the advertising on the packaging. There is a Sandisk lookalike marking which states that this is a Class 10 card that delivers 15mb/s write speed**. I am not sure if that is really possible, so perhaps other buyers can share their experiences with this card.Lastly, the packaging on my card comes with a free movie download from the PNY website. You can choose 1 out of the 35 or so movies, which was a pleasant surprise since it wasn't stated anywhere on the product page that this comes with a free movie download. The card also comes with the adapter as shown, which is a great help to maintain when using normal SDHC card readers.I would have given it 4.5 if Amazon allowed. This card is so close to getting the full 5 if not for the slight speed difference that I got from my card.

Perfect for expanding memory!!
These memory cards were perfect. I bought three of them for my kids tablets, and with them being on sale they were a steal! They worked perfectly once inserted and I love the fact that it can be used as regular size or micro.
