Unicorn Universe (Just Add Water)

I noticed some comments of people complaining that not all pages work/have the colors appear when water is added. This caused me to worry about the quality, however, now that I have them, I can vouch for the quality. They are wonderful. The quality is actually excellent. It's a very nice book with thick pages. You can see my two photos. A few key points.... It states there are 30 water pages and "over a dozen...you can color using your own pencils...." There's a back cover that can fold under pages to prevent seeping through to other pages. Pages are perforated for easy removal, which also avoids seeping and makes them easy to share. My 4.75 y.o. daughter has been doing them for hours today. She can't get enough. I'm on to buy the same one again as well as any others I can find. She does find the water pages more exciting but she also enjoys coloring the other pages. Part of the excitement has been testing each page to find out which ones are "magic." It makes each page a surprise. I don't write many reviews but these have proven so great to us compared to some of the reviews, I had to chime in.

I wanted to love this book. I bought it for my 5 yr old granddaughter, who loves to paint and also loves unicorns, so I thought it would be perfect. She was so excited to get it and immediately sat down to paint. The first few pictures were beautiful. Then we ran into 3 that simply would not paint, it was if they had no paint on them, it was like trying to paint a normal coloring book page with water. Then pages that would paint with the water, then several that wouldn't. She loves it anyway, but there does seem to be a quality problem.

Very cool product! Painting with water! Its like the old painting sheets that had the colors on the page that you got wet and then used for painting. But these are hidden on the black lines of the pictures. Makes the paint magically appear.Only issue is the sayings are somewhat odd. Like weird translations that do not quite work. Not a deal-breaker, just not something I would proudly display for long. Luckily my daughter has just started reading so the phrases are too advanced to mean anyhing to her.

Clean pages with very good printing. Not all pages have paint, so markers, pens and crayons can add more character. Paint printed on pages is sufficient to cover all areas and in different styles. Brush appears to be good quality, but I'm no expert on that. Positive affirmations on every page. Good for all ages. Great gift.I love this book.

I recently found the 'paint with water' version of adult coloring books and I am ADDICTED! I love doing them they're so calming and look so pretty when you're done. I enjoyed every image in this book. I will definitely be looking for more by this publisher.

My Grand children lost interest very quickly as the paint colors are faint and thin. There are better paint with water books available. I will nor purchase again

My lil sister loved this coloring book. My mom loved it even more that she couldn’t make a big mess with her paints. (I didn’t read the description correctly that no paint was needed but it turned out great anyways).

The middle pages were missing ink. Wouldn't work with water. But we got a replacement book. Not sure if this one will do the same thing yet.

comprei pra esposa e ela gostou bastante.tem paginas para pintar com lapis e outras paginas em que a tinta aquarela esta nas linhas do desenho, bastando apenas passar um pincel para a pintar. muito legal.
