Deco 79 Metal Sun and Moon Home Wall Decor Indoor Outdoor Wall Sculpture with Stars, Wall Art 36" x 1" x 36", Copper

This arrived early yesterday via UPS and we were very happy with the quality of this product. It is a large piece -- about 35" diameter -- and is packaged in a large square flat box so all you have to do is remove from the box and hang. I've read from other customers that the packaging could be improved, and I agree. Upon removal from the box, three of the stars were bent, and fortunately I was able to bend them back into shape without effort or drama or tools. However, since this is a recurring problem, I would strongly encourage the shipper to invest a little bit more in bubble wrap (the industrial kind you can easily procure from ULINE) or styrofoam casing for the five stars that have the exposure. The metal is very good quality, and the "rays" are a heavy wire so the piece does have some nice weight to it. The colors are true to the photo. Red, orange and a yellow center sun. This worked perfectly for our newly painted bright yellow exterior of our home. Given the appearance, I feel this product is high value for the workmanship and quality.

The scale is perfect for the wall-space I needed to fill. It's three dimensional (see the shadow behind it?). That gives it "movement" that your average, flat-on-the-wall piece of art doesn't have. I recommend two people to hang/install it. I got it done on my own, but it wasn't easy. It is a substantial, heavy piece - use a sheet-rock anchor if you're not going to drill into a stud. 1 star for packaging because when I lifted the box 4' x 4' x 8", it was weighty...then all of a sudden it weighed nothing - because the art slid out the box onto the ground. When I inspected the box... I found two, light pieces of tape on one of three sides that should have been taped. That the art wasn't damaged - that it arrived at all - is a miracle.

Nice wall piece for a reasonable price. This very light weight and the color is a pinkish bronze more than true bronze. Looks nice on my lanai.

I love it! Beautiful and Unique piece, advertising is correct and accurate . Very easy to hang and secure. It's a large piece. it hangs perfect over my mantel inside or would fill any large wall space inside or outside it measures 36x36 round shape. HOWEVER shipping Stinks! Packed very poorly in very thin plastic bubble bag. I waited a long week for it and when it arrived the box was opened and damaged the piece was slightly damaged the stars are bent which would normally be easy to straighten but mine was twisted as well so I will return it and reorder in hopes of better packing. 5 star review is for the piece not shipping I would even deal with the damaged stars if necessary that's how nice it is A little more shipping tape to secure the box could have avoided the return.

Just received this sun/moon metal sculpture and unboxed it. Exterior packaging was fine and undamaged, sculpture was wrapped in bubble wrap with extra wrap on the stars - a great idea given earlier reviews about damage to these fragile attachments. The metal is sturdy, well made, and tinted beautifully. Great value for this price. Will be a perfect addition to hang on the wall behind my Japanese serenity garden off my back patio.
