Clairol Professional Beautiful Collection Semi-Permanent Hair Color

This touches up my red perfectly when i need it due to sun lightening or a gray or two. Highly recommended!

I’ve used Loving Care before, though it has been a while. I was looking for something like that to restore a little color and shine. It’s just the bottle of color, not a kit. I’d recommend having at least a pair of vinyl gloves on hand to use during application. Even for just the bottle of color, the price was great. Considering the savings, I’m more than happy to supply my own gloves. I was a little spooked by some of the reviews I read. I made sure to SHAKE THOROUGHLY before applying, and didn’t use as much as I otherwise would. I shampooed, conditioned, rinsed and towel dried per instructions. I also applied facial cream to my face - including my hairline - before applying the color. I left it on the full 25 minutes. It rinsed out easily and quickly. The color was/is very subtle. Next time, I might skip conditioning and will apply it more liberally… to try for a little more color absorption. My skin is very fair and stains easily, but my scalp and hairline were stain free. I also applied some color to my eyebrows using a Q-tip, and that didn’t stain either (but did leave some color on the brow hairs). I only left that on about 5 minutes, and wiped clean with a damp cloth. Next time, I won’t be as cautious. I think applying facial moisturizer to help prevent possible staining at the hairline is a good idea. And hair color should ALWAYS be shaken thoroughly / vigorously before application. And gloves are recommended. But, besides that, there doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about with this product. I recommend it for sure!

This looks amazing. It's like my hair went back 20 years! The color is perfect AND no damage to my hair from color removers and chemicals. No funny smells and no regrets If you color your hair and haven't tried THIS PRODUCT ,then YOU are missing out! I'm even gonna recommend THIS to MEN !!!Find your color and BUY IT NOW! You are not gonna regret it. Men, there is no fake weird color in here AND it washes out slowly so it will last a while and take away those grays that snuck up on you. No reason you can't bring your younger self back just a little...

I purchased a number of the Clairol Professional 'Semi-Permanent' hair color bottles in similar shades. There is no peroxide to irritate your scalp. Maybe this is a good thing, but the colors are quite permanent and did not wash out over a long time. What happened was they just faded, but even that took a long time. Overall, this is a good product, and did not cause irritation or itching on the scalp, like thos professionally applied that had peroxide and ammonia. The hair that was colored did not lose all the color over time.

Oh man. What a rollercoaster! I used Madison Reed during Covid and really loved it. But it's permanent and I get full demarcation lines. I could fake it with some of that powder coverup. But I'm going gray and am seeing all these lovely gray hair ladies embracing it and thought what the hell am I doing? Then I got worried on how I was ever gonna make the cutover. Well, dear reader, this is the bridge. This is how it's done. I had to match a very copper red and many of the demi-permanents are more pink than copper. This one matches it perfectly (light reddish brown), at least at first. I did 20 minutes on the roots & then the last 5 I combed it through. It looks professional and covered up the grays (I know the hard ones are gonna peak out any day, but at least it's now a gradual look). Don't believe the hair stylists that tell you what a slog going gray will be. They just want your money. Now it's a liquid color so it's messy, not sure of how to get around that. But since it's semi-permanent you don't have to be so accurate with application like you do with permanent. So glad I found this!

I wish it would of worked. I bought light reddish brown. I used to dye my hair. Now I want to grow it out. I wanted a temporary dye so I could even out my hair to take photos. What a disaster. It didn't dye my grown out roots and it made the rest of my hair a horrible shade of orange. I had to go to the store and get Oops which works but it is a very long process and I had to color my hair again Which I didn't want to do.. So my hair coloring process's that should have taken 45 minutes took 6 hours. Plus there wasn't any english instructions. Had to look at up online. I will never buy this product again. Plus the bottles leaked. Nit enough to cause a problem but why doesn't the bottles have foil seals. They have two at tops and they were sent to me in an envelope. I wish I could return the two extra bottles I bought but I am not going to worry about it. Happy to hear that this product worked for some people. Buyers beware. I wish I took photos. Was getting late and just trying to fix it. Have to go to work early on the morning.

I've used this product for a couple of years and I've tried different shades. I opted to try a totally different shade this time because in Winter I like to add a little glow to my normally pale skin tone. I always read other people's comments about a product and especially paid note to those who had used this exact shade. Most were pleased and only one person said her grey turned orange. Since most had good luck with this shade I decided to go ahead and use it. I'm so glad I did. My favorite shade so far! I'm 80 yrs. old with brown hair and a grey streak from my crown to my bangs. This shade covered evenly. On me it looks almost auburn. Wish I knew how to do a selfie, but I don't know how. Highly recommend this product.

Color exact and easy to use. No mixing 2 bottles. No gloves come with it though..

Didn’t make one little bit of difference to my hair other than it made it smell nice. I have a grey streak in the front so it would have been easy to notice but there wasn’t even a hint of colour. I’m not sure if I did something wrong, I left it in a little longer than it said on the bottle and I only rinsed with water I didn’t wash with soap after; still, nothing.

It damaged my hair .. i had a lot of hairfall in 1st use and i stopped using it after. Not at all recommended
