What size wooden posts will fit these please

Will fit posts 11/2inch square or 38mm square. These were a good price.

No. They take posts approx 35 x 35mm only

Can I use this to insert led spot light? Is it made of wood?

These are made from painted steel, they are approx 40mm square. As to spotlights I think that they would have to be very small to fit inside.

Could you use these on a substantial garden arbour please?

I used them to make a small and lightweight garden arch. They are quite short, but very sturdy metal. I think you might be better using longer ones if it’s an arbour. They’re fine for my small arch! If your arbour is going to be sturdily constructed and you just need the stakes to support the uprights they may be ok. Sorry this isn’t very helpful but it depends on the size of the arbour you want to make!
