Good buck, author uses humor westie owners can appreciate

Good reference but probably could have found just as good from the library.

Bought this book out of wishful thinking. I'm hoping to have one one of these days - they are so cute - so smart - and so playful. One jumped in the car one day when my husband was out shopping and he couldn't bring him/her (?) home because we lived in a condo and it was against the rules. But he saw a lady that had two others and she took it in - hopefully found the owners - seemed to be pretty healthy and happy. We've had pets all our lives and don't know if we can live without one.

This book did not help us at all. Our little Westie puppy is not at like the other three we had, and we bought this book in the hopes that it would explain how to deal with our little monster. It didn't. We've managed to out-think the little devil for the most part, but he doesn't seem to fit any of the personalities covered by the book -- or ANY source, for that matter. We love him, but I hope we can survive his puppyhood. He's a DEVIL DOG !!!

I like this book very much and I am learning good information about this breed of dog. I will be going to a dog show and will be ableto ask about this breeds training ability and will know information from this book. I will also, be able to ask important questions concerningthis breeds ability to be train in the areas of house breaking.

A nice easy to read book that helps you to come up with a plan for how to train your Westie.

This book was not what I was a actually looking for, very disappointed the techniques as they were ambiguous at the most.

This book is very good, and l am glad l bought it, but illustrations and diagrams would help not just words.

Very interesting book. Will put all his ideas into practice and hope to achieve great results. Westies are very strong willed and stubborn. Would recommend.

This book feels as if it was written as a dog training book for any breed and the occasional reference to westies made to support the title. I felt the same would be made to numerous breeds.The advice was good it is just not a specialised breed book.
