Good try but not good enough.
My son wore this for lacrosse. He stated the pads under the arms were uncomfortable and did not cover enough around the middle for the protection he needed against defenders. Is choosing not to wear it.

Good product - just as advertised
My son (a large 10 year old) needed a padded compression shirt for travel basketball and I bought him this as it is sleeveless. He loves it and wears it proudly under his basketball jersey. It doesn't restrict his movement but does give him some protection under the basket from elbows. I think I will have him wear it for soccer too and will probally buy another one. IT is good quality and while I am sure there are better ones out there you can't beat the price.
