How long should I cut the 1x2 boards for full size siloute?

I do not use a full size target, but a Easyshot Shooting Targets from Amazon and they are 12" x 18". I cut my boards at 48". I purchase 8' furring strips then cut them in half.

How tall is the stand

The height depends on the length of the wood you buy to put into the stand. You are only paying for and will receive the metal stand at the bottom. You have to buy your own wood, clips, and targets.

What’s the best way to hold it down?

If your referring to the stand, its pretty sturdy on its own,Or u could sand bag it or use a rock.if its the target part, it comes with large "paper clips" that hold the target just fine

Is it sturdy enough to hold steel targets?

My honest answer is no. Cardboard, paper, or a combo of both, but the chains and weight of the steel targets, plus the torque they'd place on the frame of this much thinner metal would be too much for it to bear over a short period of time. I can almost guarantee either a break or serious "bendage". I have a steel target system and the holding frame is much thicker than this target system's frame. I've taken my Highwild out to the range a few dozen times and it has performed very well, for what it was set up to do.
