Thomas Kinkade Special Collector's Edition 2016 Deluxe Wall Calendar: Mountain Majesty

I am more than pleased with this purchase. First, and most importantly to me, the calendar fits like a glove into the lovely wood Thomas Kinkade calendar frame that I received for Christmas from my late husband in 2003, so there is sentimental value for me. I don't believe they sell the frames anymore. Every year I try to find a Thomas Kinkade calendar that fits the frame, but they are always too small or too large, and do not do the frame justice. This was not my first choice of the Thomas Kinkade 2016 calendars (I wanted the "Garden Of Grace" calendar, but it is out of stock). However, the photos in this calendar are gorgeous. Since I was most concerned with getting a calendar that would properly fit my frame, I did not realize that this calendar is collectable and hand numbered with a certificate of authenticity. THERE WERE MORE SURPRISES TO COME!! Enclosed in the lovely keepsake envelope with the calendar and certificate was an absolutely beautiful Thomas Kinkade print on a light cardboard weight paper with a gold embossed raised stamp, authenticating it as a Thomas Kinkade. It is "Everett'sCottage", a very pretty Thomas Kinkade painting. It can be easily framed, with or without a mat, and would go with any décor. ALL IN ALL, I would say that this is probably the best deal available for this brand of calendar, considering all the "extras" included. I highly recommend this calendar to anyone considering it, especially if you own a Thomas Kinkade calendar frame. Aside from the calendar I received the year I originally received the frame, this is the first time I have found a calendar that does the frame justice. Amazon prices are always the best I can find, but I feel this is the best deal I have gotten out of 100's of purchases over the years :) Since I bought this calendar in the last week the price has been reduced by 50 cents. My guess is that they will not last long at that price!

Great calendar! I get my mom a Thomas Kincaid calendar every year for Christmas, and this one is the best one I've gotten for here! Beautiful artwork, and the framable print was icing on the cake!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. I love all things Thomas Kinkade. I had wanted the Disney 2016 edition (as we had had the 2015 version), but didn't want to wait for it to restock. This calendar is a great size and the selected art is beautiful.

The replacement 2 where in perfect shape. These were collector calendars that the Thomas kinkade painter of the light store sold for 18.98 each. They are numbered and a very nice print inside to frame. I do mean a very nice print with certificate. Can't get it any lower price than Amazons 12.00 each. Great Christmas gift.

Gave this as a gift to my mother-in-law, who is a big fan of Kinkade. It fits perfectly in the fame we gave her 20 yrs+ ago. The Kinkade calendar has become a gift one of her kids gives her each year since then.

Je viens de découvrir ce peintre, enfin plus exactement ses œuvres. Il est qualifié de peintre de la lumière et c'est mérité. je peints moi-même (aquarelle en revanche) et je vois le travail minutieux, la lumière et surtout la magie qui se dégage le choix des peintures pour chaque mois est intéressant le calendrier est livrer avec un certificat d'authenticité, et d'une peinture petit format, le tout dans une enveloppe portant la vue sélectionnée pour les 4 derniers mois de l'année en cours. Un petit "message" du regretté peintre est ajouté à chaque page

Whatever you may think of Thomas Kinkade's art there is no doubting that now, well over three years after his death, he is even more popular than ever. This calendar is one of a number of 2016 options to feature Kinkade's work and is as twee or kitsch as you are likely to find – but strangely almost impossible not to like! The self-styled “Painter of Light” was no Turner but he captured his own bucolic and pastoral scenes as only he could – and one in twenty American homes now owns a copy of one of his paintings - which must say something about the artist or his audience. My wife is crazy over Kinkade. Neither of us had heard of him until my wife was given one of his calendars last year. She liked it so much she wanted all of your selection for this year. The problems we in the west have - choosing calendars!!

Glad that we could order this in Canada. It is not consistently available, but always get one year after year.
