I was in need of a product to work in conjunction with a standard ABD pad to collect a lot of drainage from the wound on my foot and keep it away from sitting on the skin making matters worse. This was just what I needed since I didn't like the way the opti-lok bandages were working. While they are very similar in design this one doesn't have the plastic outer edge to block the fluid from passing through when full. I will definitely be using this again.

This is a great product. My husband is on blood thinners and recently had a skin cancerous mole removed. It continued to bleed for over a week. Regular bandaging with bandaids or other gauze type products did not help. It would still seep through. This product eliminated it completely. Just used paper tape to hold in place. Glad I found it on Amazon and will recommend to his dermatologist too!

Does just as what it advertised,absorbs wound drainage dramatically. Unfortunately when it fully fills with drainage, it expands and splits at the seam, spilling the absorbent material over the floor. The seams of the bandage are not very well designed.

Very absorbent. I have leg wounds that leak fluid. Other dressings—like ABD pads— hold the fluid against my skin making it sore and irritated. This pad wicks the moisture away from my skin preventing the irritation. Even when filled with fluid, the gel kept moisture off of my skin. Very pleased with this product.

Using for wound care and it absorbs very well. Since using this product the wound has not leaked through the bandage.

It’s perfect for wound absorbing

Started off good then as they started to absorbe they exploded and had sticky gooey gel all over. The messiest thing I ever seen. If you are planning on using this for med to heavy drainage don't buy. You'll just be in a mess.

Purchased these to use with a leaking wound site, absorbed very well then exploded many micro beads all over the site. Not good. I recommend against buying these for any open wounds or irritated skin as the clean up isn’t easy.
