Elegant roaster!
QUALITY! That's getting what you pay for here. Sturdy, heavy and oh so beautiful, this Cuisinart is a joy to use. The rack that comes with this is curved up and perfect for two chickens, a large turkey or rib roast. There is plenty of room under the rack for vegetables too. I have other racks which are flat with "feet" and are better suited for ribs, brisket and other flat meats. I especially love the handles. They are large and very easy to grip even with heavy oven mitts. Clean up is an easy task if you immediately fill the pan with water and a bit of dish soap and soak until after dinner. I wouldn't even bother with a dishwasher here, it could develop a film or get scratched. The directions say you could use metal utensils "carefully", but I will use my silicone to avoid any accidental scratches. Elegant roaster! I am so glad I got it!

So easy to clean! Perfect roaster, great for sauce on the stovetop!
My "coated" roaster was chipping little bits of black in everything, and the other one warped when I tried to make gravy, so, time for a new roaster! Chose this based on Cuisinart, no coating on the pan or the rack, and the price was manageable without a second mortgage. This roaster has made my life so much easier! One roaster for everything. Works on my stove gas oval burner for gravy & pan sauce - no warping. Heavy enough to hold its shape, but not too heavy to lift, even with a huge bird. The handles are substantial, wide and high enough to let you use oven mitts. Once all is done, we pop it in the dishwasher, it comes out shining, both it and the rack. Saves me hand scrubbing as I had to do previously. Makes me very happy! So, ten years on, I use this roaster for EVERYTHING, it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Since it is heavy triply, it heats evenly, no "hot spots" to burn things , it cooks evenly on the bottom and up the sides. The bottom is completely flat and smooth, so perfect for making pan sauces and gravy, also for dishes like lasagna or baking deep cobblers. Also great for roasting big batches of vegetables for side dishes and for assorted soups and stews that suggest pre-roasting veggies to enhance flavor. I am considering buying a second one, as I find myself emptying one dish into another pan in order to use it for a second dish. Very happy with this lovely roaster! So, I bought a second one, used both for the 4th, one for ribs the other for roasted potatoes, Yea! Looked wonderful on the buffet, straight from the oven ๐. Can't go wrong with this pan.

The last roasting pan Iโll ever have to buy
I love to cook. Iโve loved it since I was 5-6 years old learning to make pancakes with my grandmother. And like anything else, Iโve learned talent and hard work will make wonders out of very little; but tools play their part too. Good kitchenware is often quite costly, and in todayโs market, the cost doesnโt always guarantee quality. This pan was moderately priced but performs at the same level as those double or triple the price. Itโs a dream to cook in, and so easy to clean. A sponge, some dish soap and vinegar bring it right back to new with little effort. For reference, I have a gas oven and Iโve made 4 roast chickens and 5 batches of roasted squash and root vegetables. Since itโs heavy bottomed, I place it about 3 rack spaces from the bottom of the oven like I would my cast iron pans. Iโve roasted with foil covers and without. Iโve not gone above 425 degrees in my oven, but I imagine it would do just fine hotter if needed. I only use wood or silicon tools. This pan will easily last a lifetime with basic care. If youโre looking at it, buy it. You wonโt regret it.

Happy with my purchase, hoping this will be the last roasting pan I ever have to buy.
Have tested this twice so far since I got it. Does exactly what I want it to do! Roasted a 3-pound chicken when I first got it, then a 12-ish pound turkey this week--all good. I didn't make gravy after roasting the chicken (why?? Must have forgotten) but I did after the turkey and OH HECK YES I was able to put this right across two (electric) stove burners and scrape those drippings up just fine. The chicken looked hilariously puny in this size of a pan--to be honest, so did the turkey, a bit--but that makes me confident that I can use it for a 20+ pound behemoth next Thanksgiving if I want. Other relevant thoughts: -I watched VERY CAREFULLY for the pitting issues some reviewers mentioned. Nothing so far! I haven't used anything acidic in it, just in case, but I will at some point and adjust this review if needed. There were, of course, fork marks from where I made gravy, but that happens to my mixing bowls too and has never escalated into an issue. Again, if it does, I'll update. -The rack doesn't quite look/feel as high quality as the pan, but so far has worked just fine. Either the rack or the pan itself is warped (gotta be the rack, or if not it's only a slight flaw and has yet to cause any issues)--it wobbles within the pan. :/ Annoying (and the reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5), but hasn't caused any half-cooked poultry to fling itself across my kitchen, so no worries. -Yes, it's dishwasher safe! I was worried about that. Ran it through on the top shelf because that's where it fit best, used the "pots and pans" setting with my usual detergent tab, and it came out fine. No clue yet how that will work out in the long term, over years or decades, but so far so good. The rack went on the bottom shelf and came out SPOTLESS, which was nice--part of why I got rid of my old pan/rack combo was because I was still scrubbing turkey schmutz out of that thing a week after Thanksgiving last year. -If you're used to smaller or lower quality pans, know that this is much heavier and that it may take a few uses to get accustomed to the size and angle of the handles. You'll probably be fine--I have moderate arthritis in my hands and was still able to move it easily--but take the weight into consideration for the first few uses. That being said, the handles are VERY useful--makes it easy to get a firm, secure grip. -I have no idea why, at the time I'm posting this, the Amazon price is showing up at $121. I paid $60-something a month or so ago. At the price I paid, this is a good investment in functionality and size. Any higher and I'd be a little dubious, but your mileage may vary (I'm coming from a lower middle class perspective here--if spending $100+ on a roasting pan is normal for you, go for it). You're unlikely to find it for much less than I paid, but if you do, jump on it. Good pan, worth getting.

Beautiful
Heavy duty, high quality, beautiful. I'll have it until I don't cook anymore. Plus, it comes highly recommended by every cooking site. I did my research. Lol

This is The One for large holiday roasts
Buy it, you will not regret it (as long as you have room to store it!). I splurged on this one a few years ago after getting sick of a stupid cheap roaster with bad handles and flaking nonstick coating. This is a lifetime pan. You do NOT need nonstickโIโve used it 8 times for Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas roasts, and it cleans up easily to a mirror shine after deglazing and maybe a quick soak. Completely flat bottom, no nooks and crannies to make deglazing/gravy a pain. It is a large roaster, similar in size to a half-sheet pan (different shapeโ a little shorter and wider). It can hold a 22-pound spatchcocked turkey, or several ribs of beef roast on the rack. You do NOT need a nonstick coating, they will always fail and flake off into your gravy. I have no complaints about this beautiful practical roaster. It brings me joy every year. Silly to say that about a pan but itโs true.

Classy ๐คฉ
What a fabulous turkey roasting pan this is. I researched my purchase thoroughly and this one kept coming up tops! I love the design, the weight, the handle design, the rack and the size (warning - it will not fit in a standard European oven). A totally flat interior was an important must-have for ease of scraping the bottom when making gravy. I have yet to cook a turkey in it but have no doubt it will be fantastic. I can see it is going to look beautiful and live for a long time because it is so solid.

Just Get it!
I've been looking at roasting pans for awhile, never could decide which one would be best. Kept coming back to this beauty, and am glad we got it. It's durable, and a great size for turkey (16") I like that it's sturdy and heavy, and the handles are great! The rack is rounded, making it perfect for a turkey. Easily lifts out, while the pan catches all the juices. I was able to get the tip of the turkey baster through the rack to baste the turkey. This roaster is expensive, yes, but not as much as some others, like All Clad, which was my dream roaster but at nearly 300.00,, a no for me. This Cuisinart roaster will last me a very long time, plus it comes with a Lifetime Warranty, so you can't go wrong. Very happy with this purchase.

Amazon Customer Service was great
The roaster is great. I was not pleased because 2 months after I bought it I was charged $43.21 by FedEx. The company who sold it was not helpful but Amazon was. They credited me for the amount. Amazon customer service has never let me down.

Wow. Just Wow
This thing is a beautiful beast. Compared to the last roaster I had, it is not just rock solid and beautiful, but awesomly functional. Finally. a U-Shaped inner rack. How easy to do a turkey. No folded rims or other places to gather water to rust. Love it.
